- Lalaine is the youngest of four siblings, Marian, Francisco and Cristina, she also has two nephews and a niece. She resided in the Philippines from 1990 till 1995. Her sister Cristina had to beg her Mom to drive her to her singing coach for vocal training in 1997, which she paid for in three months. It was then that Lalaine was discovered and performed as Little Cosette in "Les Miserables" Broadway Production for almost a year.
- She is of Filipino descent with Hispanic (Spanish) and a little Chinese ancestry.
- Both her parents were born in the Philippines. Her mom Lilia Paras is from Batangas, and her dad is from Pampanga.
- Lalaine became a member of Vanity Theft in 2010. In 2011 Lalaine was asked to leave Vanity Theft.
- She will reprise her role of Miranda Sanchez from "Lizzie McGuire" for the show's spin off series "Stevie Sanchez" according to her online journal. The show was to have focused on Miranda's little sister Stevie. The pilot episode was shot, but the series was never picked up. (February 2005)
