Boris Kremenliev was born on 23 May 1911 in Razlog, Bulgaria. He was a composer, known for Crucifixion (1953) and The Tell-Tale Heart (1953). He died on 25 April 1988 in Los Angeles, California, USA.
American composer and ethnomusicologist specializing in the folk music
of Bulgaria and on Slav music in general. He retired as professor of
composition at UCLA in 1978.
