- Robert Klane was born on October 17, 1941 in Port Jefferson, Long Island, New York, USA. He was a writer and producer, known for Weekend at Bernie's (1989), Tracey Takes On... (1996) and National Lampoon's European Vacation (1985). He was married to J.C. Scott, Anjanette Comer and Linda L Tesh. He died on August 29, 2023 in Woodland Hills, California, USA.
