Since I still haven’t seen Sang-Jin Kim’s 1999 Attack the Gas Station! (주유소 습격사건) (yes, shame on me!), I can’t say how much of the original’s concept will stay in the sequel based on this very first teaser trailer. According to the AsianMediaWiki, director Sang-Jin Kim has kept his place but most of the original cast was replaced. Attack the Gas Station! 2 will open in Korea on January 21, 2010.
