- Ali Khan is an Indian actor who predominantly works in Hindi and Bhojpuri films. He has appeared as a supporting actor in over 150 films over three decades and has also been featured in numerous TV shows.
Khan was pursuing a bachelor's degree in legislative law from Magadh University in Bodh Gaya, Bihar, but dropped out to pursue his acting career. He debuted in the Hindi film industry with Kalka (1983) as Gopi. He then appeared as the main antagonist in the movie Rahemdil Jallad (1985).
Khan went on to star in minor roles in several films, including Agneekaal (1990), Vishwatma (1992), Khuda Gawah (1992), Juaari (1994) and Sarfarosh (1999).
He debuted in the Bhojpuri film industry with Rasili Tohre Khatir (2005), playing a supporting role. He then went on to act in several Bhojpuri films like Hamar Mother India (2008) and Dulhan Chahi Pakistan Se 2 (2018).
Khan started working in television in 2005 with the TV show Detective Karan (2003) on DD National. He went on to star in several television shows like Kumkum: Ek Pyara Sa Bandhan (2002) and Bohot Pyaar Karte Hai (2022).
Khan won the TIIFA Award for Legendary Actor in a negative role in 2017. In 2018, he was given the AIAC Award for individual achievements and nation-building. He was also felicitated with the DadaSaheb Phalke Film Yatra Award in 2019.
