- Tony Karloff is known for The Other Side of Hell (1978).
- Since the 1940s, he has claimed that he was the disowned son of the great horror film actor Boris Karloff and has appeared as a comedian in nightclub vaudeville acts, promoted in their ads as "Tony Karloff, Son of Boris Karloff". There is no mention of which of Karloff's many ex-wives (or, most likely, lovers, since Karloff was never known to be faithful to any of his wives, according to Canada historian Greg Nesteroff's newsletter) his mother would be.
- Since his alleged father, Boris Karloff, was a serial adulterer who was married at least seven or eight times and at the same time had multiple affairs with different women, including professional prostitutes, according to biographer Gregory Mank it would be very plausible that Karloff had indeed fathered multiple children throughout his entire life and never even knew it, although Karloff was aware of Tony's public proclamation of being his son.
