- She walked the Cannes Film Festival's red carpet in the spring of 1964, thanks to her film "The Red Lanterns" (in Greek known as "Ta Kokkina Fanaria"), which was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language film.
- Jenny was born as a blonde, but got famously known as a dark haired woman. She was dying her hair black and only once, at the begging of the 60s, came back to blonde hair, for her theatrical performance "A stupid girl" (in Greek known as "Ena Kouto Koritsi").
- In 1973, during the years of dictatorship in Greece, she went to jail due to her theatrical performance "Our big circus" (in Greek known as "To megalo mas tsirko"). She stayed there for three months.
