On Instagram, Paris celebrated the 89-year-old patriarch and the "dynasty" he spent his life creating. "You are the first true Jackson. The legend that started it all. None of us would be anywhere near where we're at if it weren't for you," she wrote.
Paris said she was by her grandfather's side in his final moments. "Being able to tell you everything I needed to tell you before saying goodbye was such a blessing," she said. "Quoting advice you gave me when I was a little kid and seeing your eyes light up, sharing stories my dad used to tell me about you, telling a joke and hearing you laugh for the last time . . . Rest in peace, Joe Jackson. On Wednesday, June 27, the Jackson family patriarch sadly died at age 89 after reportedly battling terminal cancer for some time. But, just a few months before his passing, Joe exclusively spoke to Closer Weekly in what would be one of his final red carpet interviews before his death. While attending the Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Award Party on March 4, the famed music manager was asked by Closer what he hoped for his showbiz family to accomplish in the future. "All of my family is famous and known everywhere. They're known all over the world. When I say 'everywhere,' I mean all over the world. And I want them to keep it up and I hope they will," Joe said. Paris Jackson lost her father, Michael, when she was just 11 years old, and in the eight years since his passing, the now-19-year-old has honored him in so many special ways. Katherine Jackson's disturbing allegations against her nephew-in-law, Trent Jackson -- which he has previously denied -- continued in court papers she filed on Wednesday. Katherine filed the papers in support of her request for a permanent restraining order against him.
Katherine, 86, alleges in new court documents obtained by Et that she's fearful that recently terminating Trent's employment -- and his alleged refusal to leave her guest home in Calabasas, California -- will cause him to try and cause her "further harm." She says she's currently living under a doctor's care in London, England, in part because of "the stress this situation with Trent is causing [her]."
"I am afraid of Trent in my own home for many reasons," Katherine alleges in the papers. "I have no privacy since he has free run of the house. He tells the house staff and security that he is the 'House Manager.'"

The 50-year-old gave birth to her first child, a baby boy named Eissa Al Manna, on Jan. 3, and that means we have another little Jackson to add to the ever-expanding family tree. Considering Janet is the youngest of the Jackson siblings and the last to welcome a child (so far), Eissa's cousins are all quite a bit older than him. His eldest cousin, Rebbie Jackson's daughter Stacee, is 46-years-old. However, Janet's brother, Jackie Jackson, was the most recent of the singer's siblings to have not one but two children. As a huge fan of all members of the Jackson musical dynasty, it pains when people belittle the careers of the late Michael Jackson’s siblings. Of course, most people are aware that the King of Pop’s brothers and sisters were all in the music industry, but unfortunately their work simply never received the promotion and success it deserved, with perhaps the one exception being Janet Jackson.
Some suggest that it was overshadowed by their brother’s success, with Clive Davis’s recent autobiography suggesting Michael attempted to sabotage Jermaine’s musical career.
With the male Jacksons in the middle of their first tour in almost three decades, I think it is time to re-evaluate the music careers of Rebbie, Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, La Toya, Marlon, Randy and Janet Jackson and make a small effort to help get them the respect they deserve.

Los Angeles — Janet, Randy and Rebbie Jackson say the executors of Michael Jackson's will are causing harm by damaging "fundamental family relationships" and isolating matriarch Katherine Jackson "from anyone questioning the validity of Michael's will."
The Jackson siblings released a statement late Friday through an attorney amid a fight over their brother's will with the executors of his estate.

Janet, Randy and Rebbie Jackson accuse the executors of a "relentless" negative media campaign and say they have been barred from visiting their 82-year-old mother or Jackson's children.

But who would’ve ever thought that Latoya would emerge as the sane one?
La Toya, who is known for attention-seeking and sometimes bizarre public behavior, has remained uncharacteristically quiet during the ordeal, and now, she is reportedly encouraging her family to stop airing their dirty laundry in public because she feels the ongoing dispute is damaging the family name.
TMZ says that she feels the best way to resolve the family’s problems is in private behind closed doors and not in the public eye. (Seems pretty obvious, right? But this is the Jackson family we're talking about.)

As if the Jackson family drama couldn't get any more twisted, Michael Jackson's oldest son, Prince, is now threatening to tell the truth if the lies don't stop. Michael Jackson: The Life of an Icon is a behind the scenes account of the star’s life which offers a true portrayal of his journey through the use of intimate stories, rare footage and personal recounts from those who knew him best.
Earlier this week I was given the amazing opportunity to interview Michael Jackson’s brother Tito, eldest sister Rebbie, his close childhood friend David Gest as well as the lawyers who successfully acquitted Michael in the 2005 trial, Thomas Mesereau and Susan Yu.
I really enjoyed all of the interviews but this first one, with Tito and Rebbie Jackson was certainly my favourite. With this being my first ever interview, I was really grateful for how warm they both were and how comfortable it was to sit and talk to them.

Melbourne, Nov 3: Late pop star Michael Jackson's siblings, Tito and Rebbie, have admitted that despite numerous attempts, they could not get to their brother in his last days, because of his aggressive staff.
Tito and Rebbie Jackson said they knew "something bad was going to happen" in the months before his death, but were barred from entering the singer's property by his security team and were unable to reach Michael by phone before he died in June 2009 from a dose of the anaesthetic propofol.
"We had premonitions. I always felt that if nobody stepped in, somebody was going to do something bad," the Daily Telegraph quoted sister Rebbie, 61, as saying.
"We tried many, many times - interventions and everything else."

At the age of three Austin Brown stepped on stage with mom Rebbie Jackson during her concert in Japan, took one look at the enormous crowd and hustled backstage. He certainly wasn't the spotlight-grabbing type of Jackson fans were used to. Twenty-one years later, Brown has his stage fright in check, his dance moves polished and has released a new hand-clapping, bass heavy single "Target Practice," from his debut album 85. Refusing to have his kids becoming a victim to consumer temptations as he did, Michael Jackson had set up an inheritance for his children, 13-year-old Prince, 12-year-old Paris and 8-year-old Blanket, in which the kids will not have control of their inheritances until they are 30 years old, TMZ reported.
Michael set up the Michael Jackson Family Trust fund in 1995 before he welcomed his kids with dermatologist nurse Debbie Rowe and signed it off in 2002. Under the trust, the kids would get 40% of his estate, while his mother Katherine Jackson, whose share will go to Michael's kids if she dies, gets another 40%. And the final 20% goes to charity.
"Michael's mother and his children were the dearest thing to him in his life, so he made sure that they would benefit when he died," a family insider said. "In truth those children will never have to want for anything and that's what Michael wished for.
