[This story contains spoilers for Secret Invasion.]
In the finale of Secret Invasion, Emilia Clarke’s G’iah inherited a litany of MCU character superpowers, as Gravik’s (Kingsley Ben-Adir) plan to become a God-like Skrull backfired, resulting in his death. With G’iah now being seemingly invincible, director Ali Selim is opening up about how the choice and the G’iah-Gravik super-powered fight came to be.
“It starts with Kevin Feige saying, ‘Any and all superpowers are fair game. Have fun,’ and then we storyboarded it. We would be like, ‘What are the superpowers that would happen next?'” Selim tells The Hollywood Reporter. “And then we would go through stunts and understand what superpowers can happen next and what can’t, just because of the physical positioning of the actors. And then, with VFX, some things just couldn’t work because they looked funny shifting from this to that in an instant.”

The Star Wars YouTube channel uploaded a new video of actress Daisy Ridley wishing everyone a Happy Star Wars Day (May 4th) and also congratulating the generous donators for the Force for Change charity. One lucky winner will be picked to fly out to Ireland to visit Skellig Michael, the island location where Daisy Ridley's Rey first encounters Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) at the end of Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
Have a look at the video below.
Daisy Ridley's Rey took her first steps into a larger world in Star Wars: The Force Awakens and will continue her epic journey with Finn, Poe, and Luke Skywalker in the next chapter of the continuing Star Wars saga, Star Wars: Episode VIII, which began principal photography at Pinewood Studios in London on February 15, 2016.

The first trailer for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story has hit. Gareth Edwards’ spinoff tale of a group of rebels working to steal plans for the Death Star isn’t related director to the new trilogy that began with The Force Awakens last year, but should still make for a solid adventure by the looks of it.
We wanted to get the trailer up right away, so take it all in and save the date!
The trailer looks fantastic, seeing the assembly of the Death Star, familiar uniforms and locations from A New Hope, and friggin At-at’s on a beach around palm trees. I have to say I am pretty excited about this one. Have some thoughts of your own? Share them on our Facebook page.
