- Laurence Hugo was born on December 22, 1917 in Berkeley, California, USA. He was an actor, known for All My Children (1970), The Philco Television Playhouse (1948) and Six Characters in Search of an Author (1976). He was married to Carolyn Gary and Ludi Claire. He died on March 2, 1994 in Charlottesville, Virginia, USA.

- Graduated from the University of California in 1939. Studied acting with Sanford Meisner at the New York Neighbourhood Playhouse and, post-war, in England at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts. Broadway debut in 'Distant City' (1941), wartime service, then back on stage in 'Decision', 'Born Yesterday','Stalag 17' (as the traitor) and other plays. Noted on TV as one of three actors portraying the crime-fighting lawyer Mike Karr in 'Edge of Night' (1962-1970).
