Cinema Guld has snapped up U.S. rights to Maren Ade’s “Everyone Else,” its Chairman Philip Hobel said Friday. The company’s Director of Distribution, Ryan Krivoshey negotiated the deal with Stefanie Zeitler for Bavaria Film International, and the film is set for a theatrical release sometime next year. The Cinema Guild has acquired U.S. distribution rights to Frederic Fonteyne's Gilles' Wife, an adaptation of Madeleine Bourdouxhe's 1937 novel about a young wife who suspects her husband is having an affair. The deal, announced by Cinema Guild chairman Philip Hobel, was negotiated by Ryan Krivoshey, director of feature distribution for the Cinema Guild, and Carole Baraton for Wild Bunch. Gilles' Wife will be released theatrically in the fall.
