An accomplished dancer as well as an ice skating professional,
Katherine was a Silver Medal winner of the 1982 USA International
Ballet Competition, held in Jackson, Mississippi, USA, once every four
years. She was no older than 13 at the time.
She is a former principal dancer with the Vienna State Opera Ballet
Company, Les Ballets de Monte Carlo and the London Festival Ballet.
While she was growing up, her father (an attorney) provided for the
family while her mother attended to Katherine's ice skating training
and competitions.
Formerly principal ballerina with Les Ballets de Monte Carlo and the
Vienna State Opera Ballet.
Graduated from Princeton University in 1990 with a degree in Art
History.
Joined the London Festival Ballet, now the English National Ballet, as
a principal dancer at the age of 15.
