Pictured on a 4¢ US postage stamp issued in his honor, 23 October 1962.
When a small number of these stamps were discovered with the background
color inverted, US postmaster general J. Edward Day ordered a large
number of the "error" stamps to be printed, thereby devaluing the
original error stamps. The deliberate error stamps were issued 16
November 1962.
