Edith Hamlin is a casting director and producer of dramatic television shows at CBS, NBC, ABC and PBS for more than 30 years from the "Golden Age of Television" in the 1950's through the 1980's. She is known for The Defenders, The Sunday Showcase, A Storm in Summer, The Scarecrow and more. Her work as a casting director extended to feature films and Broadway musicals. She helped to discover Carroll O'Connor, Robert Duvall, Blythe Danner and N'gai Dixon. Throughout her career she worked with leading producers, directors and writers who brought quality television to the American public.
