- Mario Garbuglia was born on May 27, 1927 in Fontespina, Marche, Italy. He was a production designer and art director, known for The Leopard (1963), Waterloo (1970) and Barbarella (1968). He died on March 30, 2010 in Rome, Lazio, Italy.
- Italian production designer, best known for his collaborations with the director Luchino Visconti (including as his theatrical set designer). Winner of the Nastro d'Argento and a BAFTA award.
