Nancy Sinatra’s former home in Beverly Hills has just sold for $3 million, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
The groovy “These Boots Were Made for Walkin'” singer lived in the mod midcentury residence in the late 1960s and filmed part of the music video for her 1967 song “I Gotta Get Outta This Town” there.
Photos of Sinatra taken in the house when she lived there show her penchant for a yellow color scheme as well as the singer standing behind the four-bedroom home’s martini bar. She was also photographed on a powder blue bed with her collection of boots.
The house was largely preserved by its longtime owner Orly Frank and by Frank’s parents. The seller, as THR reported exclusively, listed the house for $2.95 million on Oct. 3. “It’s been my family home for 50 years,” said Frank, adding that, “My mom just loved that house so much and so did my dad.

The former Beverly Hills home of singer Nancy Sinatra — where she was once photographed with some of her iconic made-for-walkin’ boots — is hitting the market for $2.95 million. Much of the midcentury property remains the way it was when Sinatra owned the home in the 1960s.
“It’s been my family home for 50 years,” says Orly Frank, the home’s current owner, whose parents Abraham and Renee Frank purchased the home from TV and film director Sobey Martin (Four Nights of the Full Moon, Lost in Space), who had himself acquired it from Sinatra. “He lived in it very briefly,” continues Frank, who recalls that she was in high school when her parents moved in to the house.
Over the years, according to Frank, “Nancy Sinatra stayed in touch with my family. She came up and visited, and she sent some handwritten notes to my parents. She loved the house.”

R&b legend Kenny ‘Babyface’ Edmonds, who recently performed “America the Beautiful” at the Super Bowl, has closed a deal to sell his house in Los Angeles’ guard-gated Beverly Crest neighborhood at a sale price of $6.5 million.
Babyface had shared the house with his now ex-wife, Nicole Pantenburg — the two finalized their divorce in February of this year.
According to Dirt.com, Edmonds purchased the residence for $4.1 million in 2004. The Altman Brothers’ listing described it as a “beautiful traditional home” featuring a “grand, two-story entry with an intricate ceiling and beautiful staircase. The house spans more than 11,000 square feet and includes six bedrooms, seven baths, a gourmet chef’s kitchen, a great room with a fireplace and wet bar and a ground-floor en-suite bedroom.
Upstairs, the primary suite includes a fireplace and separate sitting area, while the basement features — appropriately — a music studio, plus two gym areas, a wine room...

“We are not an exhibitor.” That’s been Imax CEO Richard Gelfond‘s pitch to Wall Street as the exec aims to differentiate the giant-screen company from more volatile rivals like theater giants AMC and Cineworld. And, on Sept. 22, Imax unveiled a 21 million acquisition of a streaming video tech firm, Ssimwave, that would be surprising if Gelfond hadn’t already been telegraphing his ambitions.
Ssimwave, a startup run by CEO Dr. Abdul Rehman, uses machine learning to allow clients — including Disney, Paramount and Warner Bros. Discovery — to offer high video quality for viewing on multiple devices. The start-up’s tech aims to allow streaming players to deliver a better customer experience by reducing content delivery issues like quality drop-offs, screen audio and video out of synch and uneven color contrasts and depth. The buy looks to bolster Imax’s efforts to broaden its...
