The Pogues will be setting sail on their next adventure in Outer Banks Season 4, but the chill, consequence-free life they once knew is no more. Despite an 18-month time jump, John B (Chase Stokes) and Sarah (Madelyn Cline) will still be dealing with the fallout of the Season 3 finale in Season 4. “Anytime you experience loss, it hits in spaces and in places that you don’t anticipate,” Stokes tells People. “Being in the situation that John B and Sarah are in, it really will force them to evaluate everything. Where they are, what their purpose is, what their intentions are, and what was the actual value of it? Was it worth it, in hindsight? If they could go back and change things, would they? Or do they feel okay with it?” Sarah and John B lost their fathers on the same day and had to watch them die in front of their eyes.

[Spoiler Alert: Spoilers ahead regarding who dies in season 3 of Outer Banks.]
Charles Esten as Ward Cameron, Drew Starkey as Rafe | Jackson Lee Davis/Netflix Ward Cameron sacrifices himself to save Sarah in ‘Outer Banks’ Season 3
In the first season of Outer Banks, we learn Sarah’s (Madelyn Cline) father, Ward (Charles Esten), worked closely with John B.’s (Chase Stokes) father, Big John (Charles Halford). They were hunting for the Royal Merchant ship and the $400 million in gold together, which resulted in Ward accidentally killing Big John — or so we thought.
In season 2 of the Netflix series, Ward’s death streak continued. He killed his pilot, Gavin (Adam Vernier), fearing Gavin would tell the police the truth about Sherriff Peterkin’s (Adina Porter) death and expose Rafe (Drew Starkey). When he felt like he no longer had control,...

The cast of Outer Banks have heard all of the bizarre, creative, and somewhat genius theories that fans have brainstormed throughout the Netflix show’s three seasons. Some theories are a bit too unbelievable to ever come true. However, others are so twisted they just might work. The Outer Banks sibling theory, in particular, has intrigued Madelyn Cline so much that she’s trying to get the writers to make it happen. Here’s a closer look at the sibling theory and what Cline had to say about it.

Outer Banks Season 2 ended with the jaw-dropping reveal that John B.’s dad was still alive. Since that final episode dropped more than 18 months ago, fans have discussed their theories about what this means for the story moving forward. According to one, it’s very possible that John B.’s dad could be the series’ new villain.
Chase Stokes and Charles Halford | Jackson Lee Davis/Netflix ‘Outer Banks’ Season 3 is on the island of ‘Poguelandia’
The Netflix trailer for Outer Banks Season 3 was all about “two tribes, one island” off the coast of North Carolina. The series continues to follow the wealthy and elite “Kooks” and the working class “Pogues,” and this time they are alive and abandoned on a deserted island now deemed “Poguelandia.”
In the 10-episode third season, the island’s new residents appear to be living an idyllic, care-free life as they fish and swim together.

Outer Banks is a Netflix series created by Shannon Burke, Jonas Pate and Josh Pate starring Chase Stokes, Madelyn Cline and Jonathan Daviss.
This series about rich and poor is back, this has been a great success for Netflix and now the story is renewed after two seasons full of adventures, romances… and lots of beautiful people too.
If you haven´t seen it yet… you are in for a great time, not much room for reflection, this is an adventure about young people specially created for them. Full of adventures, mysteries and tensions in characters that fight to change if not the world, their small islands of inequities they have been born in.
A very Goonies style entertaiment, sure, but this is really fun and addictive.
To be enjoyed!

The first few seasons of “Outer Banks” were dumb fun — but is the amusement wearing thin? The start of Season 3 appears to suspect the viewer is as foolish as the Pogues, the pack of adventurous adolescent have-nots in the posh North Carolina beach community of the show’s title. Another season arrives with yet another elusive “Outer Banks” treasure hunt. Are we greyhounds chasing a mechanical Netflix rabbit, never to reach fruition?
When we last left the Pogues, the five-pack had improbably skirted death yet again by jumping off a freighter that was carrying Pope’s (Jonathan Daviss) priceless inheritance of a giant jeweled cross, as well as Sarah (Madelyn Cline)’s murderous family members, controlling dad Wade (Charles Esten) and sociopathic brother Rafe (Drew Starkey).

Calling all Obx fans – the wait for the next season of “Outer Banks” is (almost) over. Netflix dropped the first trailer for Season 3 of its hit series on Thursday morning.
“Outer Banks” sets the scene with “two tribes. One island” off the coast of North Carolina. The series follows the story of the wealthy and elite “Kooks” and the working class “Pogues.” The Season 2 ending left fans’ jaws on the floor with some characters, like John B’s father, revealed to be alive and others abandoned on a deserted island.
The 10-episode third season finds the kids on that island, now deemed “Poguelandia.” The location first appears to function as an idyllic home, as the new residents find themselves fishing, swimming and living care-free. But the plot thickens when the gang winds up in another race for treasure and running to escape from danger once again. Knowing the “Outer Banks” kids,...

In the show's first teaser, which the streamer released on Sept. 24, 2022, as part of its Tudum fan event, it appears the teens are making the most out of being stranded on a (hopefully) deserted island.
In the clip, the Pogues are living the good life, jumping into the ocean from tall cliffs and goofing around like they don't have a care in the world. But things are never that easy for the beleaguered North Carolina teens, and trouble is lurking ahead in the form of Ward (Charles Esten), Rafe (Drew Starkey), and Carla (Elizabeth Mitchell). "Nothing good comes easy, nothing worthy is given," John B (Chase Stokes) says in the teaser. "What are you willing to do to win? How far do you go to keep your treasure?...

Will the Pogues ever catch a break?
Our favorite characters were happily lost at the end of Outer Banks Season 2.
They were ready to live out the rest of their days in a corner of the world, well away from everyone else.
But this is TV, and there has to be drama.
Netflix unveiled a wild first look at Outer Banks Season 3 on Thursday, and we think it's fair to say this will be the most dramatic season yet.
One of the most significant moments showcases John B with his presumed-dead dad, Big John.
That will be a huge moment, for sure, but in true Outer Banks fashion, there are far more pressing things on the agenda.
We also see the Pogues in the city of El Dorado, but what takes them there?
The trailer doesn't give that much away, but we have to assume treasure will be the driving force here.

The Pogues are back and still evading the law and the Kooks in the upcoming third season of Netflix‘s Outer Banks, which is set to land on the streamer on Thursday, February 23. “You kind of have to wonder, was the treasure an escape, or was it a trap?” Chase Stokes‘ John B Routledge says in the voiceover of the new trailer, which sees the ragtag group of teens coming up against dangerous new enemies in the hunt for the treasures of El Dorado. Season 3 picks up after the shocking events at the end of the second season, which saw Carla (Elizabeth Mitchell) approaching a mysterious man in Barbados, who turns out to be John B’s missing/presumed dead dad. Meanwhile, the adrift teens escaped the unhinged and murderous Rafe (Drew Starkey) and Wade (Charles Esten) and ended up on an island in the Caribbean, which they proclaimed Poguelandia.

The Netflix drama series’ upcoming third season, debuting Feb. 23, involves the underdog clique discovering that a peaceful life on their newfound desert paradise, nicknamed “Poguelandia,” won’t last long. “Dad, I don’t need you anymore,” Rafe tells Ward in the new footage, which includes him pushing his dad up against a wall.
The trailer also shows Kiara (Madison Bailey) held captive by Caribbean crime kingpin Carlos Singh (Andy McQueen), not to mention an emotional reunion between John B (Chase Stokes) and his father, Big John (Charles Halford...
