Seven members of staff have been laid off by Dark Horse Comics, it has been reported. According to Cbr, those dismissed include editors Shawna Gore, Dave Land and Tim Erwin, as well as sales assistant Max Sato. The redundancies follow declining sales across the industry, in addition to Dark Horse falling behind Image Comics and Idw Publishing in market share possession. The bankruptcy of book chain Borders Group is also thought to be a contributory factor.
