- Joel Eisenberg is an author, screenwriter, and producer. Joel's epic novel series with co-author Steve Hillard, "The Chronicles of Ara," was an Amazon bestseller that was optioned to Ovation Network in 2015.
Joel has also developed material acquired by Warner Brothers, CBS, Hulu, FOX Studios, Amazon Prime, Roddenberry Entertainment and more. His pilot script and format for M. Night Shyamalan's proposed reinvention of "Tales from the Crypt" was purchased by TNT in 2018.
He has written, co-written, and produced several independent feature films. In 2010, Joel executive produced "April Showers," a film about the Columbine school shooting tragedy. Following its theatrical and initial DVD platform, "April Showers" went on to receive a special commendation from the U.S. House of Representatives.
Upcoming feature film projects include the Alzheimer's-themed "January Rain," as co-writer, and "Louis vs Schmeling," a boxing biopic to be directed by Bill Duke and executive produced by Gilbert Adler.

- Worked 100 day jobs before turning full-time into writing and producing in his 40s. He wrote a book based on those experiences, "How to Survive a Day Job," in 2004, and it was published the following year.
- He considers the first time he saw "Star Wars" in '77 a "game-changer." Following the film's ending medal ceremony, Joel's family left to the lobby, while he could not stand. His legs went numb for ten minutes over the excitement of the film, leading to a life-long obsession of all things "Star Wars.".
