According to the book "David O. Selznick's Hollywood" by Ronald Haver (1985 edition, p. 103), this was the young actress who played the girl in the native ritual scene of
King Kong (1933) who was the intended bride of Kong before the native chief (
Noble Johnson) saw Ann Darrow (
Fay Wray) and decided he wanted Ann instead. In this unbilled role, Curry is shown in a kneeling position, wearing leis around her neck, while native women put flowers in her hair.
