Tupac Shakur's final resting place -- the place he lived until his death -- is on the market, with a slab of hip-hop history ... the rapper's "Made N****z" lyrics are etched in stone. The San Fernando Valley home is listed for $2.65 million. It's the place Tupac rented after being released from prison in 1995. He was in escrow to buy it outright when he was gunned down the following year in Vegas. The 6,000 square foot,...

While many might feel this article is a violent blast from the past, the intense theatrical and creative expression Limp Bizkit encompasses through their delivery, message, stage presence and theme remain unmatched by most. Of course, the music industry would still thrive without them and the presence of hundreds of other bands that also “kick holes in speakers” prove that the art remains alive, but no one quite does it like Limp Bizkit.

The odds are stacked against Limp Bizkit member DJ Lethal in a brand new fender bender lawsuit -- because the woman he allegedly rear ended is represented by iconic personal injury superstar Larry H. In February, all seemed good in the Limp Bizkit camp. The '90s rap-rock band signed a new record deal with Cash Money Records, and was poised to get "back in this ho" that we call the record business. But it appears that things are not all red baseball caps and passed-out college girls after all. TMZ reports that Durst wants to fire two of the band's original members, drummer John Otto and DJ Lethal, because they do not fit with his "new vision" for Limp Bizkit. What that means isn't entirely clear, but Durst apparently is also upset ...

Limp Bizkit's Fred Durst is reportedly planning to fire two original members of the band. The frontman is said to be looking for a "new vision" for the group since they were signed to Cash Money Records. Original bandmates DJ Lethal and John Otto have been warned by Durst that their partying lifestyles do not fit in with Durst's plans, reports TMZ. DJ Lethal said: "We've worked together the last four years to bring Limp Bizkit back to where it is today, and to just be thrown out on the street after the band gets a new deal and a new chance at life isn't cool." He added: "You can't push away the people who helped you get there. The fans should know that if two-fifths of the original band are not playing at the concerts, it wont be truthful to them." He had previously tweeted on Friday (March...

Hip-hop music has gotten a bit jagged with the technological advances in music production. In no way is jagged meant as an insult, but there are times, where hip-hop and rap would sound more appealing if the hard tempo beats were replaced with sleeker ones. These genres were originally meant for artists to battle each other on who had more flow, but have now adapted to who can drop the bigger beat. Thankfully for La Coka Nostra, hip-hop will be able to revert back to the ways of velvetiness. The La Coka Nostra super-crew, which consists of Everlast, DJ Lethal, Danny Boy and Ill Bille and Slaine, have re-surfaced just...

Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst served up a treat for fans online on Wednesday, November 24, when he gave them a sneak peek of the band's first record in over 10 years. The group has been blighted by fall outs between Durst and guitarist Wes Borland, who quit Limp Bizkit in 2001 and again in 2006 after a number of well-publicized fights.
His departure marked the start of a long hiatus for the group, but the pair healed its rift and reunited the act with bassist Sam Rivers, drummer John Otto and DJ Lethal in February 2009. They began recording their fifth studio album, "Gold Cobra "- the follow-up to 2000's "Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water" - six months later.
And Durst gave fans a peek at its progress during a live web chat on Wednesday, playing snippets from a series of tunes, including a song featuring Wu-Tang Clan's Raekwon. Durst...

"DJ Hero 2" has entered the last leg of its path toward an October 19 release date, and though they've revealed 105 tracks that will appear featuring talent like DJ Qbert and DJ Shadow, FreeStyleGames had not yet named what the sequel's mix list would include. That's all changed now, however, and they've even grouped the combos and re-styled singles by producer.
"Whether it's Pussycat Dolls Mixed With Pitbull, 2Pac Mixed With B.o.B., or a all-new remix of a Daft Punk anthem, in 'DJ Hero 2' we have created 83 mixes that are not only incredibly fun to play, but will allow everyone to experience the music they know and love in an all-new way," FreeStyleGames music director Dan Neil said in a press release. "The amazing soundtrack, coupled with the new social gameplay modes and all-new levels of creative freedom, make 'DJ Hero 2' the ultimate interactive music experience."

Here's the thing about the recently reunited Limp Bizkit: Sure, it's been more than five years since they last released an album — 2005's The Unquestionable Truth (Part 1) — and even longer since they've been free of any sort of intra-band strife, but in a lot of ways, it's like things have never changed for them.
Especially when it comes to Gold Cobra, their new album (which is due this summer). It's the first time the band's full lineup — Fred Durst, guitarist Wes Borland, bassist Sam Rivers, drummer John Otto and turntablist DJ Lethal — have recorded together in more than a decade, and it's far from a rusty, dusty affair. The bass still booms, the riffs still crash, and Durst sounds like he's having an absolute blast.

In a recent interview with GQ, Jack White let it be known that he had just recorded a song with none other than Jay-z and that said song is "unbelievable-sounding."
And while we have no reason to doubt the man's word, we're still a bit wary. After all, the last time White ventured outside his comfort zone was in 2008, when he recorded "Another Way To Die" — the theme song to that year's James Bond vehicle "Quantum of Solace"
— which was one part total brilliance and three parts train wreck (though it's possible that the movie itself was the real culprit).
Also, it's not like the history of rock-n-rap collaborations is all that great anyway. Aside from a few watershed moments — like the Beastie Boys' entire career, Run-d.M.C. teaming up with Aerosmith for "Walk This Way," the soundtrack to 1993's "Judgment Night" (Biohazard and Onyx! Sonic Youth and Cypress Hill!

Ex-baywatch babe Nicole Eggert piled on the pounds after falling into a deep depression following her father's death and an allegedly abusive relationship with DJ Lethal.
The blonde beauty is currently appearing on U.S. reality show Celebrity Fit Club in a bid to shed the weight she put on after losing her dad Ralph to cancer, according to her mother Georgina.
Georgina tells RadarOnline.com, "When her father died it took a lot out of her. It's been two years, but she was really bummed out and stressed about her dad. She spent a lot of time in bed.
"On anybody else the weight gain wouldn't have been as noticeable. She wasn't really that heavy, but she was on Baywatch and everyone expected her to still be that. She's not 18 anymore."
And Eggert's mum admits the actress' tumultuous relationship with House of Pain star DJ Lethal, real name Leor Dimant, also left her feeling low.
Georgina adds, "He was not nice to her. I wish she would find someone. It's always a mother's wish for their daughter to find someone, but she's happy. I think now she just wants to be able to live and feed her daughter, and she's doing a great job."
In 2008, Eggert filed papers alleging Dimant subjected her to repeated physical violence during their relationship.
