- Jack Dietz was born on December 7, 1901 in Yekaterinoslav, Russia. He was a producer, known for Voodoo Man (1944), Three of a Kind (1944) and Follow the Leader (1944). He died on January 30, 1969 in Boston, Massachusetts, USA.
- In 1943 he was sentenced to seven months in prison after pleading guilty to evading more than $200,000 in income taxes in 1936 and 1937.
