Leo was considered the master of the prepared harmonica, forming his
own harmonica trio, "The Solidaires." The group appeared in films
during the 1940's, playing themselves. In the 1950's Leo went solo and
produced a number of recordings as well as writing a number of songs,
"The Girls of Brazil," and more.

Harmonica player, composer ("Off Shore"), songwriter and arranger,
educated in public schools and a member of Borrah Minevitch's Harmonica
Rascals between 1930 and 1946. He made many records, and joined ASCAP
in 1954. His other instrumental and song compositions include "Hold on
to Your Dreams", "Tijuana Border Patrol", "Mediterranean Suite", "Skin
Diver's Suite", "Mr. X", "Shtiggy Boom", and "Nashville
Nights".
