Smashing Pumpkins’ Billy Corgan and Limp Bizkit’s Fred Durst are both getting into the podcast game, with new shows on a podcast network led by Bill Maher.
Maher revealed the deals in a new interview with Variety, noting how well he connected with the two musicians after they appeared on his own show, Club Random, last year. “I never knew Fred or Billy,” he said. “But something good happens there, and I can feel like I’m best friends for life with somebody who I just talked to for an hour and a half.

Tom DeLonge fell victim to the 95-degree heat during blink-182’s set at the Asunciónico festival in Paraguay on Tuesday night (March 19th). The singer-guitarist reports that he suffered a heat stroke, causing him to collapse to his knees and vomit. Even so, DeLonge managed to recover and finish the show.
Along with a photo of himself from the concert, DeLonge wrote on Instagram, “This was about 1 min before heat stroke hit. Fell to my knees, everything went blurry, then wobbled to the side of the stage and vomited for a bit. Super fun. @markhoppus and @travisbarker made up for the lost time… man, this was not something I’ve ever felt before. 95 Degrees at a 11pm on stage. But… I made it back and finished the show. Cause that’s what Navy Seals do… @blink182.”

In late 2011, William Eubank took a job as second unit director of Allen Hughes’ Broken City. Hughes hired Eubank off of early footage from his feature directorial debut, Love (2011), which is a Kubrickian arthouse film that he made in collaboration with Tom DeLonge and his band Angels & Airwaves. The second-unit gig was especially meaningful because it not only landed Eubank his DGA card, but it also marked the beginning of his career-long trajectory with Broken City’s co-lead, Russell Crowe, who’s now leading his action-thriller, Land of Bad.
In 2016, while Crowe was on the promotional trail for Shane Black’s The Nice Guys, Eubank met up with him to discuss his now long-gestating fantasy actioner, World Breaker, however, despite Crowe’s interest at the time, the filmmaker was pulled away when Underwater got the green light from 20th Century Fox. Alkaline Trio’s Matt Skiba is still making sense of something he saw one day on the way to the recording studio: A man on the side of the road battling his mental health, violently screaming at the world. “He was throwing his arms and legs about,” the singer and guitarist tells Rolling Stone. “It was a display of rage in front of this bush, but it looked like he was dancing.”
He noticed other passersby gawking at the man with amusement, but Skiba felt compassion — and curiosity. “I was just thinking,...

The Beatles‘ songs don’t sound much like Blink-182’s. Despite this, Mark Hoppus from Blink-182 is a big fan of one of The Beatles’ ballads from Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band. The track in question is underrated.
Mark Hoppus from Blink-182 said 1 Beatles song gets him choked up
During a 2009 interview with Cleveland.com, Hoppus was asked to name his favorite Beatles song. He picked “She’s Leaving Home,” a ballad from Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band. While “She’s Leaving Home” is part of one of the biggest albums of all time, it doesn’t garner as much attention as other tracks on Sgt. Pepper such as “Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds” and “A Day in the Life.” It’s also nowhere near as famous as other Beatles ballads like “Yesterday,” “Let It Be,” or “The Long and Winding Road.”
“She’s Leaving Home” has a huge impact on Hoppus.

It was a strong week for rock music on the Billboard 200 albums chart, led by Blink 182‘s new studio album “One More Time.” It’s the first album from the complete trio of Travis Barker, Mark Hoppus and Tom DeLonge since DeLonge left the group in 2015. Read all about this week’s chart here at Billboard.com.
“One More Time” debuted with 125,000 equivalent album units based on its combined record sales, individual track sales and online streams, with traditional sales making up the majority of its total. This is the third number-one album of their career, following “Take Off Your Pants and Jacket” (2001) and “California” (2016). Their last album, “Nine” (2019), achieved 94,000 units in its first week, but that was with Matt Skiba as part of the lineup instead of DeLonge.

Blink-182 have added two new bonus tracks — “Cut Me Off” and “See You” — to their big classic lineup reunion album, One More Time.
Both songs are gigantic blasts of pop-punk angst, though each with its own particular flourishes. “See You” bolsters the palm-muted power-chord chug with sky-high synths and even an atmospheric breakbeat sample. “Don’t let us be over, I’ll wait here forever,” Tom DeLonge and Mark Hoppus sing on the chorus. “You can’t burn us with your flame/I’ll see you anyway.”

The original lineup of Blink-182, Mark Hoppus, Travis Barker and Tom DeLonge, have returned with their first album together since DeLonge left the band in 2015, titled ‘One More Time’.
In a new video with interviewer Zane Lowe, the bandmates got candid about their past disagreements and how Hoppus’ diagnosis with stage four Lymphoma helped them see the bigger picture.
“I didn’t know that Blink would ever get back together, or that I would ever share a stage with Tom. I told management, I told Travis, I told everybody, I’m not setting foot on stage with that dude again,” said Hoppus about his falling out with DeLonge.
“Then, honestly, I got sick. Just by random chance, Tom hit me up,” Hoppus continued. “I’m like … by the way I have Lymphoma, and Tom snapped into this person and immediately was like, called me every morning, ‘What’s going on?...

After years of turmoil, including drummer Travis Barker’s 2008 plane crash, singer-bassist Mark Hoppus’s successful battle with cancer, and the departure (and recent return) of singer-guitarist Tom DeLonge, Blink-182 takes what feels like a victory lap on One More Time… The first single, “Edging,” is a pop-punk stomper that, at least superficially, bears all of the Blink hallmarks. But the rest of the singles have been a mixed bag: The über-schmaltzy title track reflects on the group members’ friendship with rather prosaic lyrics—“Do I have to die to hear you miss me?”—while the fiery “More Than You Know” channels post-hardcore while also making reference to the tragedy that frequently surrounds the band.
This dynamic is indicative of the album as a whole: For every triumphant return to form, there’s an uninspired dud. On the opening “Anthem Part 3,” Blink-182’s renewed energy is immediately palpable. Two songs later,...

Blink-182 have officially released One More Time…, the first album to feature Tom DeLonge alongside Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker in over a decade. Check it out below via Apple Music and Spotify.
DeLonge left Blink in 2014, as the band was preparing to record the follow-up to their 2011 album Neighborhoods. Hoppus and Barker released two albums, California and Nine, with the singer-guitarist’s replacement, Matt Skiba of Alkaline Trio. The pop-punk veterans announced the return of DeLonge last year with the single “Edging,” then recorded One More Time… during their reunion tour. Given their history, it makes sense that the group said the record covers “themes of tragedy, triumph, and most importantly, brotherhood.”
Produced by Barker, One More Time… also features the singles “More Than You Know,” “Dance with Me,” and “Fell in Love,” as well as its title track.

On their ninth album, Blink-182 are still pondering the riddle that’s always been at the center of their antic-filled career: “What’s my age again?” This time, the answer is pretty clear: old in life, but young at heart. The songs on One More Time are steeped in the sharp perspective of grown-ups who have gone through some shit and wonder how the hell they got where they are. After all, it’s been 12 years since they released an album with their signature lineup of bassist Mark Hoppus, drummer Travis Barker,...

We were all pleasantly shocked when Tom DeLonge decided to re-join Blink-182, but you’d be hard-pressed to find someone more shocked about the reunion than Mark Hoppus, who just feels lucky to back on stage at all. In a recent interview, he revealed how chemotherapy forced him to “re-learn” how to be a musician again.
Talking with his bandmates to Apple Music’s Zane Lowe, Hoppus explained that he was certain he’d never share a stage with DeLonge again following the band’s highly-publicized fallout — that is, until, Hoppus was diagnosed with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma back in 2021. Though Hoppus said he and drummer Travis Barker always stayed in touch, it was cancer that brought DeLonge back into his “tight-knit” circle.
By September 2021, Hoppus was cancer-free, but it took a while to get back to normal: “I was still fucking hollow, just a shell,” he continued. “[I had a] shitty,...

Blink-182 are hung up big time on their new song, “Fell in Love,” the latest offering from the band’s upcoming album, One More Time.
“Fell in Love” is a bit of jangly alterna-pop, the bright guitars paired with some effervescent synths. Tom DeLonge and Mark Hoppus share vocal duties, reminiscing about those exciting, slightly stupid moments in an early relationship — until the inevitable hammer of doom drops: “It’s fucking with my head/Now we can never pretend, we can only be friends/Remember the time, we fell in love.

It’s a Friday in October, which means there’s a new Blink-182 song. Check out “Fell in Love,” the latest single from the band’s upcoming reunion album, below.
“Fell in Love” is a bubbly ode to (you guessed it) love, as Tom DeLonge recalls the beginning of a relationship over jubilant hand claps and some classic “Na na na”s. “Late night, feeling kinda lonely/ Drive home and no one’s waiting for me/ I don’t miss the days before I fell for you,” he croons, before he and his boo got together and “made out til the sun came up.”
The track appears on One More Time…, Blink’s first album with singer-guitarist Tom DeLonge in 12 years. The LP is out in full October 20th, and pre-orders are ongoing. So far, the band has shared the title track, as well as album cuts “More Than You Know” and “Dance with Me.

The title Monsters Of California intends to refer to a variety of entities sought by three adventuresome teen lads. We meet them hunting ghosts and demons before they shift into pursuing urban legend myths and ultimately trying to prove UFOs have been visiting from other worlds. The title unintentionally winds up equally applying to many of the mere mortals among them.
Dallas Edward’s (Jack Samson) dad was a Navy pilot, presumed dead from a secrecy-shrouded mission some years before. His smart pal Riley (Jared Scott) and their goofy stoner cohort nicknamed Toe (Jack Lancaster) crash headlong into conflicts with military and covert government entities thwarting their efforts while also dogging them in search of some intel Dallas’ dad may have left behind. Blink-182 have shared “Dance with Me,” the latest single from their upcoming album One More Time….
One More Time… is Blink’s first new album since the return of guitarist Tom DeLonge, so it’s not too surprising to see them lean into the nostalgia factor with “Dance with Me.” In its cheeky music video, the band seem to poke fun at not only themselves, but the punk purists who called them sellouts back in the day. The clip starts with a faux TV interview, in which the band all appear to be doing their best Joey Ramone cosplay: “What the hell is punk? And is it punk that I said ‘hell?'” a Barbara Walters-esque hosts asks.
“Dance with Me” isn’t the most punk tune around, but it has all the major tenets of a Blink-182 song: Breakneck drums, zippy guitar riffs, a chorus about “doin’ it all night long,...

Blink-182 pay homage to the Ramones in the band’s new video for “Dance With Me,” the latest single off the trio’s upcoming reunion album One More Time…

Rock band Blink-182 guitarist Tom De Longe has opened up on the upcoming album ‘One More Time’ which is scheduled to be released on October 20, saying it is really good. Speaking to ‘The Hollywood Reporter’, the guitarist said: “It’s really good, and I think people are going to really like the diversity and the progressive nature of it.
“They’re going to hear the heart and soul of who we are, but they’re also going to hear some left turns that still fit. So I think it’s going to be received really well by our fans.”
Talking about the emotionality of the track and how the group hasn’t employed any heavy riffs for the song, De Longe said: “That’s the thing, especially with a band like ours. We’re always like, ‘When does it get big?’ ‘When do the big guitars come in?’

Blink-182 are back in full effect. The pop-punk trio - made up of members Travis Barker, Mark Hoppus, and Tom DeLonge - reunited last year to release their single "Edging," their first in 10 years at the time. The new track came just a few days after the band announced a reunion tour, which kicked off on March 11, a few short weeks before their surprise Coachella performance. Now, the iconic group is set to release their first full-length album in over a decade, and it's titled "One More Time…" Ahead of the new album's Oct. 20 release, Blink-182 released a short trailer teasing three of its tracks: "Anthem Part 3," "One More Time," and "You Don't Know What You've Got." The four-minute clip also features old footage of the trio and recalls what led to their "indefinite hiatus" and eventual comeback.

‘No One Will Save You’ Filmmaker Brian Duffield on the Long Road to His Alien Home Invasion Thriller
No One Will Save You filmmaker Brian Duffield has experienced many twists and turns throughout his 13-year career.
After making the Black List in 2010, he pulled off the same feat in 2011 with his Jane Got a Gun spec script, which went on to endure one of the most dramatic journeys to the big screen in recent memory. In 2013, Duffield was hired to write the dystopian sci-fi film Insurgent, the sequel to Divergent (2014), and that became one of the assignments that helped him realize that he was better suited for writing on spec. In 2014, Duffield made the Black List again for his spec The Babysitter, and his produced spec scripts now include Jane Got a Gun (2015), The Babysitter (2017), Underwater (2020), Love and Monsters (2020) and No One Will Save You (2023).
The Pennsylvania native’s recent directorial career has been just as eventful as his screenwriting career. His critically acclaimed debut, Spontaneous, was hit...

Blink-182’s track “Aliens Exist” could easily be the tagline for band member Tom DeLonge’s directorial debut “Monsters of California.”
DeLonge co-wrote the script with Ian Miller and Ben Kull, with the plot centering on a high schooler looking to find his missing father who works for a secret government program. The action-comedy stars Jack Samson, Casper Van Dien, Camille Kostek, Richard Kind, and Arianne Zucker.
After discovering research left behind by a missing government agent, Dallas Edwards (Samson) and his misfit high school friends embark on a righteous and dangerous adventure to uncover a paranormal conspiracy in Southern California that brings them face-to-face with some of the government’s most guarded mysteries.

The cast includes Jack Samson (Zodiac), Casper Van Dien (Starship Troopers), Camille Kostek (Free Guy), Richard Kind (A Serious Man) and Arianne Zucker (Days of Our Lives).
Monsters of California centers on Dallas (Samson) and his outcast group of high school friends attempting to shed light on a paranormal conspiracy in Southern California that the political powers that be have kept under wraps.
“They don’t want you to know anything,” Kind says ominously in the footage. “This is going to shatter any idea you have about reality.”

Blink 182 musician Tom DeLonge is channeling his passion for UFOs and extraterrestrial activity into a feature film, titled Monsters of California and releasing this October.
Gizmodo shares the official trailer for Monsters of California this morning – you’ll have to hit up Gizmodo to watch it – and they’ve announced an October 6 release date as well.
On that date, the film releases in theaters as well as On Demand platforms at home.
This might surprise you given Tom DeLonge has never directed a feature film before but Monsters of California looks Excellent, and it’s clear from the trailer alone that DeLonge has a serious talent for filmmaking. It looks like he poured absolutely all of himself into this one, even using the classic Blink 182 song “Aliens Exist” to bring nostalgic gravitas to the trailer.
Honestly, as a massive fan of Blink 182 growing up, the song usage sent chills up and down my spine.
