Sarah Jessica Parker and Kristin Davis have sent speculation about a third Sex and the City movie through the roof, after sending each other excited cryptic tweets.

Today is the 15th anniversary of the premiere of Sex and the City, which had many lesbian connections, characters and scenes throughout its six-year run on HBO. Out designer Patricia Field famously handled the wardrobe for the inspired fashion on the show and actress Cynthia Nixon (Miranda Hobbes) came out as being in a lesbian relationship in 2004.
So we're counting down the most lesbian moments to be a part of the Satc franchise, which has also included two feature-length films.
1. Miranda gets set up with a softball player (Season 1, Episode 3)
Miranda's law firm thinks she's into women, so they set her up with Syd (Joanna Adler), who really does bat for our team. Even though she's not gay, Miranda desperately wants to be invited to the couples' dinner parties her boss throws, so she brings Syd as her date. Unfortunately,...

Hit us up in the comments! Today's recap: It's Sex and City's third-season episode, "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" Finally, after weeks of cheating and lies, Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker) came clean to Aidan (John Corbett) about her affair with Big (Chris Noth). Her timing wasn't great; she blurted it out right before she and Aidan were supposed to leave for Charlotte's (Kristen Davis) wedding. What followed next was one of the most realistic and painful couple breakups in television history. But let's...

★★☆☆☆ Fans of Dwayne Johnson (and yes, there are some) do not necessarily appreciate him for his acting skills, which is just as well as there are few of those on display from him, or any of the other cast members, in Journey 2: The Mysterious Island (2012). Though New Line Cinema's live action/CGI family extravaganza from director Brad Peyton and starring Johnson, Josh Hutcherson, Kristen Davis and Michael Caine, is fun, it hardly sets the world alight.

Earlier this week, we learned that a follow-up to Journey 2: The Mysterious Island is in the works now that the 3D family adventure has earned $272 million worldwide on a budget of $79 million. The Wrap adds that Dwayne Johnson is in talks with New Line/Warner Bros. to return in the role of Hank Parsons, the stepfather of Josh Hutcherson's Sean. Hutcherson, who starred in the first Journey as well with Brendan Fraser, is also expected to return. Brad Peyton will again sit in the director's chair and will be using a script by Brian and Mark Gunn. Beau Flynn, Tripp Vinson and Charlotte Huggins are producing. There's no word yet on whether Michael Caine, Vanessa Hudgens, Luis Guzman and/or Kristen Davis will return for the third installment. The studio is targeting a...

Having already raked in over $270 million at the box office worldwide, Journey 2: The Mysterious Island is now slated to receive a followup. The Hollywood Reporter has word that Warner Bros. has set director Brad Peyton and writers Brian and Mark Gunn to return for a third Jules Verne-inspired offering. Journey 2 , the sequel to 2008's Journey to the Center of the Earth , is in theaters now and stars Josh Hutcherson, Dwayne Johnson, Michael Caine, Vanessa Hudgens, Luis Guzman and Kristen Davis. There's no word yet on which actors will return for another adventure -- especially given the disparate casts of the first two films -- but the second does end with the suggestion that many are likely to reprise their roles. Journey 3 is currently being targeted for release...

New Journey 2 The Mysterious Island movie delivered great action, suspense & more. New Line Cinema released their new action/adventure flick "Journey 2:The Mysterious Island" into theaters this weekend. I just watched it,and I thought it was pretty entertaining as it served up tons of action, suspense, and more. Vanessa Hudgens looked great in it too. The movie stars: Dwayne Johnson, Michael Caine, Josh Hutcherson, Vanessa Hudgens, Luis Guzman, and Kristen Davis. In the new flick, character Sean (Josh Hutcherson) appears to be a troubled teenager. However, it's revealed that he's been acting out, trying to gather clues that would help him figure out what a distressed signal from his grandfather meant. His stepfather Hank (Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson) helps him decipher the strange, coded, message Sean's grandfather sent him. It revealed that the mysterious island did really exist, and pointed out the coordinates of how to get there. Reluctant on letting Sean go,...

Journey 2: The Mysterious Island
Directed by: Brad Peyton
Cast: Josh Hutcherson, Dwayne Johnson, Michael Caine, Luis Guzmán, Vanessa Hudgens
Running Time: 1 hr 34 mins
Rating: PG
Release Date: February 10, 2012
Plot: Sean Anderson (Hutcherson) reluctantly teams up with his mom’s boyfriend (Johnson) to find his grandfather (Caine), who Sean thinks went missing on a mythical island.
Who’S It For? Young boys and girls who are seeking an average adventure movie. You don’t have to love the classic tales of “The Mysterious Island,” “Treasure Island” and “Gulliver’s Travels,” but perhaps there is a chance your child will want to read one of these books after the film.
Overall
First, I need to admit something to you. I didn’t study 2008′s Journey to the Center of the Earth like a sacred scroll. I do remember it being quality 3D for its time, which seems odd to say since...

I honestly do not know who this film is geared towards and, in the same vein, I don't know who will actually come out of it satisfied. Halfway between kid-friendly storytelling and CG-fueled action romp, Journey 2 is picture proof that sequels are unnecessary. The film is a direct sequel to Journey to the Center of the Earth and follows Sean (Josh Hutcherson) who lost his dad (Brendan Fraser) to a mysterious expedition. His mom (Kristen Davis) is now remarried to overly macho Hank (Dwayne Johnson), who continuously fails to connect with his stepson. Sean's intercept a secret radio message that was sent by his grandfather (Michael Caine), who also happens to be an adventurer, that Hank is able to decode because -- luckily for everyone -- he is a former codebreaker for the U.S. Navy. Dwayne ‘The Rock” Johnson and Josh “The Hunger Games” Hutcherson roll out a new trailer for Journey 2: The Mysterious Island, featuring gargantuan birds, giant bees, and only a little pec-poppin’.
Fortunately, the marketing gurus are sticking with the action movie angle that we saw in the international trailer for Journey 2 and not following in the lame comedic footsteps of the first preview, although Johnson can’t help doing just a little pec-poppin’ in the intro.
The gimmick for the film seems to be making small things big and big things small, and while it opens up the door for interesting situations like riding bareback on a flying bee, I hope there’s more to the film than just that. Of course, there’s also an erupting volcano, the lost city of Atlantis, and Vanessa Hudgens not appearing to do much but stand around and look pretty, so the film...

Is it a comedy? An adventure? Maybe it’s a comedy-adventure? One thing’s for sure. The international trailer for Journey 2: The Mysterious Island actually makes this movie look good.
The international trailer for Journey 2 does a good job of undoing some of the damage caused by the domestic trailer. This new preview is all action, with no comedy in sight. Sure, I know the pec-popping is coming, but my faith is renewed as I now have hope the film isn’t just one cheesy scene after another.
Will I give the movie a try when it arrives in theaters on February 10, 2012? Well, I wouldn’t go with that kind of crazy talk just yet but I might be caught in a moment of weakness and see it before it comes out on DVD. We’ll just have to wait and see.

The hit series, which starred Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, Kristen Davis and Kim Cattrall, ran on HBO from 1998 to 2004 and has since spawned two feature films. Noth, who played Parker's love interest Mr Big, told Parade: "I miss the early days before it became sort of a circus of attention, when it hadn't become this iconic thing. It was just really good writing and entertainment, and then it became something else that I still don't really get. "It actually got to the point with the movies that we had to make up plotlines so that people wouldn't know what we were doing and expose it and it be all over the papers. That was pretty crazy. You used to be able (more)...

In the world of disappointing sequels, there are a lot of people who rank Sex and the City 2 towards the top. Sure, the first film wasn't exactly a masterpiece, but at the very least fans enjoyed it. Part 2, on the other hand, was pure misery that even the diehards couldn't stomach (the film currently has a 3.9 rating on IMDb). Still, a franchise is a franchise and few studios are ever willing to give up on an established name, but even star Kim Cattrall sees the writing on the wall. Echoing comments made by Kristen Davis, Cattrall recently expressed skepticism about a Sex and the City 3. Speaking to Popeater, the actress said, "I don't know if it will happen. I really, really have no idea." Following the release of the film last summer, the actress seemed quite confident about future installments, saying, "We'll tell stories as long as they're there...

Despite a heavyweight title and period vibe, “Water for Elephants” is a quick-moving tale of love and honor, adultery and betrayal.
The film opens on a contemporary landscape; Hal Holbrook enters the frame as “Old Jacob” Jankowski, alone and lost in a world where his dearly beloved have departed and looking for familiar ground in the circus. Holbrook has a gift, and in his small part in this big movie, he frames our experience, offering subtly perfect moments of emotion engineered to draw us into the lives of Jacob (Robert Pattinson) and Marlena (Reese Witherspoon).
Just as he did in “Into the Wild,” Holbrook sets the tone and provides still context in which this film’s movement can luxuriate. Paul Schneider, as the office manager of the contemporary circus,...

A while back, while sitting in a theater before my movie started, a preview came on for The Last Airbender. Nobody knew what it was yet, and the dramatic narration, outrageous C.G.I. and intense martial arts moves made everyone raise their eyebrows like, “what the hell is this?” Then, M. Night Shyamalan’s name flashed up on the screen and, I kid you not, the entire audience broke out into laughter.
Poor M. Night can’t catch a break. Last night, the 2011 Rasberry (Razzie) awards were announced and Mr. Shyamalan was the unwitting recipient of the most Razzie awards this year including Worst Director, Worst Picture and even this year’s new category, Worst Eye-Gouging Mis-Use of 3-D. This is the first picture Shyamalan has directed where he didn’t also come up with the concept and story himself. This new approach to movie-making didn’t save him...

While everyone is anticipating to celebrate the year's best movies at the Oscars tonight, let us not forget those other less worthy cinematic endeavors.
At the 31st Annual Razzie awards, M. Night Shyamalan's The Last Airbender "won" for Worst Director, Worst Picture, Worst Screenplay, Worst Supporting Actor, and even Worst Eye-Gouging Mis-Use of 3-D (that's a mouthful).
The other big winners of the night included Sex and the City 2, which took home Razzies for Worst Sequel, Worst Screen Ensemble and Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Cynthia Nixon, and Kristen Davis all shared the dubious title of Worst Actress.
Ashton Kutcher won for Worst Actor for both Killers and Valentine's Day and Jessica Alba won her fifth Razzie, winning Worst Supporting Actress for The Killer Inside Me, Little Fockers, Machete, and Valentine's Day. Ouch.

For all the mindless dreck that filled the theaters last summer, there was one film that went above and beyond the limit. A film so content in abomination that everyone is still talking about. M. Night Shyamalan‘s The Last Airbender was a creation of unspeakable horrors and as someone who enjoys terrible filmmaking, I had a great time marveling at the atrocity on screen. The Razzies agreed, awarding Shyamalan’s creation with the top awards. Sex and the City 2 cleaned up the remainder. Check the awards out below via the official site.

It's that time of the year again, when the best and brightest of Hollywood and beyond assemble to honor the greatest in cinematic achievement with those prized little golden statues of peer admiration. But before we can get to all that, another esteemed organization has its day (the day before, to be exact) to call out the laziest, most witless, and most artlessly-hollow film releases of the year. Tonight, the 31st annual Golden Raspberry award winners were announced, 'honoring' the worst in film directing, acting, and production.
The biggest 'loser' of the night was undoubtedly The Last Airbender, which took home five small gold-painted raspberry statuettes, including Worst Picture and Worst Director for M. Night Shyamalan. Perhaps making up for bestowing only a handful of nominations, but no wins, on Shyamalan's dreadful The Happening in 2008, the Golden Raspberry Award Foundation may have hammered the final nail in Shyamalan's credibility coffin,...

Well, at least they were (relatively) kind to "Twilight."
Despite nominations for several Golden Raspberry Awards, "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" managed to emerge from this year's Razzies unscathed, except for a Worst Supporting Actor win for Jackson Rathbone (poor Jasper).
However, Rathbone's "win" wasn't just for his performance in "Eclipse" -- it was also for his performance in "The Last Airbender," the poor, sad cinematic creature that also took home Razzies for Worst Picture, Worst Director, Worst Screenplay and Worst Eye-Gouging Use of 3-D (yikes!).
Hey, at least it didn't get Worst Prequel, Remake, Ripoff or Sequel -- that honor went to "Sex and the City 2," which also won Worst Actress (for all four of its leading ladies) and Worst Screen Couple/Ensemble (for the entire cast).
Anyway, thank goodness that's all over with. The 2011 Razzie Awards took place on Saturday, Feb. 26 -- the complete list of nominees are listed below,...

Never ever diss the wardrobe department. So when they have an awards show, you put on your best dress, your sharpest suit and attend. At the 13th Annual Costume Designers Guild Awards, held at the swanky Beverly Hilton hotel, the stars did just that. We’d also like to pack Kellan Lutz in our suitcase and take him everywhere with us. The Twilight star wore the hell out of a suit, making us unabashedly drool over our keyboard.
We’ll have to say that no one could hold a candle against Halle Berry, though. The actress looked better than we’ve ever seen her (and that’s no mean feat) in a gorgeous deep pink — some blogs say red, but it looks pink to us — Elie Saab gown. Kristen Davis came a not-so-distant second in an unusual retro ivory and black polka-dotted Oscar de la Renta. Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore...
