- Life is only a moment and that's the one you're in, live that moment be in that moment because the next moment may never come.
- After hearing from his Godfather Jimmy Anglisano Richard was told that Garry Marshall wanted to meet with him. Jimmy mentioned to Richard think basketball if you want to get in good with Garry. So Richard bought Mr. Marshall a basketball, wrapped it in comic paper tapped his picture and resume on the box and wrote a note which read "Jimmy tells me that basketball is your favorite pastime. Mr. Marshall I am a firm believer that one can never have enough balls, this one is for you". Just a few days later Richard was on his way to be coming a SAG member and cast in Frankie and Johnny.Thank you, to the late great Garry Marshall for helping me into the Guild and for a great start in Show business. God bless and rest in peace.
- Richard made Garry Marshall laugh. How many people can say that they made one of the greatest comedy writers of all times in the world laugh? Richard will never forget the day he drove the basketball to Garry's office. His since then retired assistant Diana phoned Richard that day about two hours after he dropped the ball off. She held the phone up and all he heard was that beautiful, unmistakable and now very missed laughter of Garry Marshall. She said he was laughing at the note Richard had written him and excepting his gift, which she said he rarely excepted gifts, but he couldn't refuse Richard's.
- Not only has actor Richard D'Alessandro been lucky enough to grace the cover of "Before the Camera Rolled" written by author Jason Norman and forwarded by actor Mike Starr ,but he also has a chapter in the book written about him. "Before the Camera Rolled is kind of a how to for young actors just starting out or just for some interesting reading about the business of show. Richard did do a book signing in April 2017 the month the book was released in both NY and NJ. Thank you Jason Norman.
