- Richard Curnock was born on May 9, 1922 in London, England, UK. He was an actor, known for The Avengers (1961), Public Eye (1965) and Much Ado About Nothing (1988). He died on February 6, 2007 in Stratford, Ontario, Canada.
- He studied for the theater and had his first stage role at the age of eight. During WWII, he performed for thousands of Allied soldiers on the London stage in a five-year run of the "Sweet and Low" revues. He joined the Stratford Festival (Ontario, Canada) in 1970, and spent 22 seasons on its stages.
