Played at nearly every top hotel in the US, particularly the Claremont
in the San Francisco area, and also performed at the Inaugural Balls
for four Presidents, including Dwight D. Eisenhower and Ronald Reagan.
He is credited with bringing the big-band style of music to Hawaii
during the 1930s.
