Trevian Kutti, a former publicist for Kanye West and R. Kelly, surrendered to authorities in Georgia on Friday on charges related to her role in the scheme to overturn the state’s 2020 election results.
Kutti’s arrest comes after Donald Trump turned himself in Thursday evening, and former Justice Department official Jeffrey Clark surrendered early Friday morning. Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis gave the former president and his 18 co-defendants a deadline of Friday at noon to stop by the county jail for booking.

GiveSendGo bills itself as the Christian alternative to GoFundMe — a platform committed to sharing “the Hope of Jesus through crowdfunding.” In addition to typical crowdfunding campaigns for medical bills and memorial funds, the site has a right-wing political edge. GiveSendGo is the preferred platform of alleged co-conspirators in Donald Trump’s attempt to subvert the 2020 election: Attorneys Jeffrey Clark, Jenna Ellis, and John Eastman all have legal-defense fundraisers on the site.
But the GiveSendGo platform is also a hit with white-supremacists and neo-Nazis. Rolling Stone has discovered nearly a dozen active,...

Donald Trump is a long, long way from winning the GOP primary, let alone retaking the White House. But he always has revenge on his mind, and his allies are preparing to use a future administration to not only undo all of Special Counsel Jack Smith’s work — but to take vengeance on Smith, and on virtually everyone else, who dared investigate Trump during his time out of power.
Rosters full of MAGAfied lawyers are being assembled. Plans are being laid for an entire new office of the Justice Department dedicated to “election integrity.

Donald Trump’s team was aware that, if he refused to leave office after the 2020 election, it could spark a mass wave of civil unrest. But the man Trump sought to appoint as attorney general had an easy answer for that, according to the new indictment of the former president: invoke the Insurrection Act.
The indictment lists six as-of-yet unindicted co-conspirators. Co-Conspirator 4 is described as “a Justice Department official who…attempted to use the Justice Department to open sham election crime investigations and influence state legislatures with knowingly false claims of election fraud.

Donald Trump was the star of the indictment handed down by a federal grand jury on Tuesday but Rudy Giuliani, appearing in the document as “co-conspirator 1,” played the biggest supporting role in the narrative of Trump’s attempts to overturn the 2020 election.
Jack Smith mentioned Giuliani — always as “co-conspirator 1” — 34 times, more than any of the half dozen Trump co-conspirators identified in the charging document. The indictment described Giuliani as an attorney “willing to spread knowingly false claims and pursue strategies that the Defendant’s 2020 re-election campaign attorneys would not.”

Donald Trump has been indicted again — this time over his efforts to overturn the 2020 election and an anti-democratic campaign that culminated in the Jan. 6 Capitol attack.
The federal grand jury hearing evidence in the Justice Department’s probe into the scheme to subvert the election results handed up a sealed indictment on Tuesday. A person familiar with the matter confirmed to Rolling Stone that the former president has been informed he is the defendant.
It’s the third time (and counting) Trump has been charged criminally this year. His legal...

Rep. Scott Perry, who the Jan. 6 committee said sought a pardon for his involvement in attempts to overturn the 2020 election, wants to turn the tables on the panel that investigated him now that the Republicans have gained a majority in the House.
“Why should I be limited… just because someone has made an accusation?” Perry told This Week host George Stephanopoulos on Sunday when he asked if Perry would pledge not to serve on the investigation into the Jan. 6 committee.

The Jan. 6 committee announced on Monday that it will refer former President Donald Trump for criminal charges for his role in the attack on the Capitol as Congress was certifying the 2020 election.
The referral, which was expected, came during the committee’s final meeting before releasing the final report on its investigation into the events of Jan. 6, 2021 and the larger effort to keep Trump in office despite losing handily to Joe Biden. The committee has said it will release the report on Wednesday.

Jeff Clark, a former Department of Justice official under Trump, is in hot water for his efforts to help the former president try to overturn the 2020 presidential election — so much so that federal agents armed with a warrant for potentially incriminating electronic communications or other images and information served him in the early morning hours Wednesday.
Naturally, Fox News primetime host Tucker Carlson had Clark on to get to the bottom of things — at the end of a day that also featured testimony excoriating Clark to the Jan. 6 House committee.

But among all the details of an eventful two days, there was one that stood out most for Carlson — the fact the agents who served the warrant on Clark’s house would not let him go back inside to properly attire himself with pants.

Updated, with latest: A number of lawmakers, including Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fl) and Rep. Mo Brooks (R-al), sought presidential pardons after January 6th, according to testimony before the committee’s hearing on Thursday.
“The only reason I know to ask for a pardon is you think you committed a crime,” said Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-il).
The committee showed text of a January 11 email in which Brooks was seeking pardons to “every congressman and senator who vote to reject the electoral college vote submissions of Arizona and Pennsylvania.” Gaetz was included in Brooks’ request for a pardon.
In videotaped testimony, Cassidy Hutchinson, aide to then-chief of staff Mark Meadows, talked of pardons sought by other lawmakers, including Andy Biggs, Scott Perry and Louie Gohmert. She said that Rep. Jim Jordan (R-oh) “talked about congressional pardons, but he never asked me for one.”
