Sketch artist for Disney Studios from 1937 until 1941 and drawing for
such animated features as Pinocchio (1940) and Dumbo (1941).
Briefly worked as an animator at Warner Bros as part of Robert Clampett's
animation unit in the early 1940s. Here he wrote scripts for "Looney
Tunes" cartoon shorts.
Became a writer and illustrator at Western Publishing, where he worked
on numerous Dell and Gold Key comic books.
