Lou Cevetillo(1945-1985)

Louis (Lou) A. Cevetillo was born on July 25, 1945 to Louis N.
Cevetillo and Filomena (Fay) Candela Cevetillo. He grew up in the Bronx
with his parents and sister, Loretta. His family moved to Tuckahoe, NY
when he was in the fourth grade. He attended Eastchester schools;
graduated from Eastchester High School in 1963. He received his
undergraduate degree from Iona College in New Rochelle, NY and his
masters degree from Fordham University in Bronx, NY. He was an
assistant vice principal in Pelham, NY, and a critic for the music
industry. One of his most famous columns was written on Frank Sinatra.
Lou was introduced to the big screen through childhood friend Victor
Magnotta (stunt coordinator, deceased 1987). He was trained musically
and sang opera and classic Italian pieces. He died in his sleep
following one of his performances in the Catskills (upstate NY). He
leaves behind three sons, Christopher & Michael (from 1st wife Gerri)
and Enrico (from second wife and widow Carmela).
