Beaux Carson is an independent sales executive, packager, and producer with over twenty-five years of experience in the major motion picture and television industry. Carson started his career as a below-the-line production services executive at Warner Brothers in the early '80s, formerly known as "The Burbank Studios." In the early '90s, Carson was packaging and selling television concepts to buyers such as; Universal Television, Dick Clark Productions, Paramount, Discovery, MTV, NBC, VHI and many more. From 2000 to 2010, Carson operated his own independent film company Carson Signature Films, Inc., located in the Universal Tower on the 20th floor at Universal.
In 2023, Carson Signature Films, Inc. packages film and television projects for all the major markets. Carson has a background in uncovering true stories, securing life rights, recognizing "hot properties," and packaging in strong elements such as (writers, producers, directors, and talent) then placing them with the right buyers. Such buyers include Universal Pictures, Warner Brothers, Paramount Pictures, Sony Pictures, HBO, Showtime, ESPN, and many more. Carson teams up with A-list producers, directors, writers, and actors on a regular basis. Carson has excellent contacts at the major talent agencies and has developed working relationships with the top players in the industry. In the past, Carson represented Academy Award-winning writers such as Earl Wallace (Witness), Quinn Redeker (The Deer Hunter), and many more.
In 2010, Carson served as co-executive producer on the feature film The Tempest starring Helen Mirren and Russell Brand; the film was directed by Julie Taymor (Lion King, Across the Universe). Carson was also a co-executive producer on a feature film for Paramount Pictures and Showtime Entertainment titled In the Company of Spies, starring Tom Berenger (Platoon). Carson teamed up with the late Dick Clark and executive produced a television pilot in 2012, which was packaged by William Morris. Carson and Dick Clark teamed up once again and produced the NXL World Cup Championship on ESPN. Carson continues to set up motion pictures and television series with many A-list producers, production companies, studios, and networks on a regular basis.
In 2020-21, Carson, along with EMA, optioned a feature film entitled 'Dissonance' based on the book 'Dissonance' by Erica O'Rourke; this project was announced in the Hollywood Reporter and Deadline. Catherine Hardwick (director of Twilight) was slated to direct the film is currently in turn-around. Moving forward in 2024-25, Carson Signature Films' main focus will be the emerging book to film and television business. The company already has multiple projects in various stages of development with multiple A-list companies.
