After receiving his B.A. degree in Sociology from Colorado College, Jon
worked on the crew of
Twin Peaks (1990) and several
music videos including those of
Madonna
and
Prince. He was accepted to NYU
Graduate Film Program where he directed award-winning short
Dinner with Malibu (1993)
before finishing his studies at the FEMIS in Paris. He continued to
direct successful short films including the series _Mésaventures
d'Alfred le crapaud, Les (1997)_ (The Unfortunate Adventures of Alfred
the Toad) that started his career directing commercials. He produced
and directed the feature Mafia comedy
Mob Queen (1998) starring
Tony Sirico of
The Sopranos (1999) which was
sold to television in France. He directed critically acclaimed short
film
Le barbier (2001) starring
French actor
Ticky Holgado. He also worked
on several successful TV series such as
Sous le soleil (1996) and
MTV's
The Real World (1992)
Paris. After the success of the short film
Ben and Thomas (2004), he developed
the story of these two lovable skateboard fans into a feature
Pee Stains and Other Disasters (2005)
and a TV series
Ben and Thomas (2008).
