Hey, "Big Brother" fans. We're back with another big report from inside the Big Brother season 25 house. Yesterday afternoon, August 14, 2023, the Pov (Power Of Veto) ceremony meeting took place, and we got the results of it for you right now. Before we go over the results, we're going to do a quick recap of this week so far. This past Thursday night, August 10, 2023, Hisam became the new Hoh (Head Of Household). Then, on Friday, August 11, 2023, Hisam decided to nominate Reilly and Cameron for eviction with Reilly as his main target. On Saturday,August 12, 2023, the Pov competition was played, and Hisam pulled out that victory as well. That all leads us to yesterday's Pov Ceremony meeting. During it, Hisam, not surprisingly, decided not to use the veto to save anyone to keep his nominations the same. That means Reilly and Cameron are the final nominees for this week/round, and one...

To flip or not to flip? That is the question in the “Big Brother 25” house this week.
Monday’s Veto ceremony went as expected — well, in terms of results. Hisam, of course, did not use the Veto, so Reilly and Cameron remain on the block. But Hisam is still on his integrity-fueled power trip and put Reilly on blast in his speech. It was apparently so brutal that it left the whole house shook. Hisam then went on an apology tour, telling Reilly and other houseguests he shouldn’t have been so harsh.
Needless to say, that speech did not do any favors for Hisam, who was already rubbing everyone the wrong way and lots of them want him ou out pre-jury. And it teed up the perfect opportunity for Cirie to plant the seeds for a vote-flip to evict Cameron. She gave Reilly pointers on what to say to Izzy and Felicia,...

Hisam is in his comp beast era with a serious case of HOHitis. As expected, he nominated Reilly and Cameron for eviction on “Big Brother 25,” with his target being Reilly. On Saturday — or early Sunday — he won his second Veto of the season.
That makes it three wins and two second place finishes for Hisam this season. If you don’t count the move-in comp, he’s won three of the four Hoh and Veto comps so far. This is also the third straight year that the same person has won the first two Veto comps of the season. He’s painting a huge target on his back and is not helping matters with his drill sergeant approach to his Hoh and endless spiels about integrity and trust. He led a Professors meeting on Sunday to celebrate their “win” for the week, but it was mostly a lecture on how...

And then there were 15. With Luke Valentine being removed for using the N-word and Kirsten Elwin being evicted by a unanimous vote, the “Big Brother” house was looking a bit smaller these days. But things were about to get back to normal, as the second Head of Household competition of the summer would crown another contestant and give them the power to nominate two people for eviction. So who won Hoh on Sunday night, and who did they put on the chopping block?

Hey, "Big Brother" fans. We're back with another important update/spoiler from inside the Big Brother season 25 house. Earlier today, August 11, 2023, another eviction nomination ceremony took place, and we've got the result of it for you right now. As we previously reported, Hisam won the new Hoh (Head Of Household) competition in the early morning hours on August 11, 2023. Then, later on in that same day, Hisam's eviction nomination ceremony took place. According to Big Brother Network and the live feeds, Hisam did decide to go ahead and throw Reilly and Cameron on the chopping block. As we previously reported, Hisam mentioned that he really wants to get Reilly out, and Cirie wants to get Cameron out. So, it's now likely possible that one of these two scenarios will happen next Thursday night, August 17, 2023.

The Professors are officially in charge of “Big Brother 25.” Well, for Week 2. Hisam won Hoh in the early hours of Friday morning, putting the other side of the house in power for the first time.
Jared was apparently was close to the win but picked the wrong door and has been sucked into the Nether Region. And it looks like he’ll be gone longer than Cory was last week. With Hisam in control, the Handful knows they’re in trouble and immediately started wondering if they could mitigate the impending doom by convincing Hisam to put up Cory and America or Cory and Felicia or one person from each side of the house. Gonna guess Hisam is not gonna put up any of the people he’s working with. He told Felicia that she’s good and he’s not picking off people from their side.

When it comes to iconic 1980’s action cinema, who stands out ahead of the pack? That’s right, Arnold. Arnold Schwarzenegger is known for many of his iconic roles over the years- but none are more memorable and more homaged than James Cameron’s 1984 science-fiction action classic, The Terminator. Be honest, at some point in your day-to-day life you’ve made some kind of reference to these movies. Maybe you’ve said “Asta la vista, Baby” from T2, maybe you’ve referred to the metaverse as Skynet once or twice, or just maybe you’ve been one of the many of us to exit a room and say “I’ll be back”. In either case, the ladder scene is easily one of the most iconic lines on the entire franchise. During this time in the mid-80’s, James Cameron was yet to become the visionary and notoriously high-standards filmmaker that he is today.

The alliance-making too a breather on Tuesday in the “Big Brother 25” house. Instead, the dominant headline was an emotional spiral. Not not from a nominee but Reilly.
With the no-so secret eight-person alliance and a split house basically public knowledge, Reilly hates that she’s been seen as the ringleader of the group (you were the one who wanted an eight-person alliance) and that she’s been excluding people. But instead of socializing with the rest of the house, she’s been holed up in the Hoh room throwing herself a pity party.
Cirie visited her on Tuesday to comfort her, telling her that she has friends on the other side of the house, alliances form in this game and everyone’s paranoid, so she needs to take a breather and “get out of your head.” Sound game and human advice from a reality TV pro. Reilly told Cirie that...

Theo James was in a London park when he learned he was nominated for his first Emmy for his role as chaotic finance bro Cameron on HBO’s The White Lotus, and when the British actor got on the phone with THR, he hadn’t yet had a chance to talk to any of his co-stars — many of whom were also nominated. Overall, The White Lotus racked up 23 nominations during the July 12 announcement.
That was his plan after he hung up. “I’m going to try to get a hold of people, and then I think I’m going to have a drink,” he says. “An alcoholic drink. I haven’t chosen which one.” The next stop? As expected, Hisam did not use the Veto on Monday in the “Big Brother 25” house, so Kirsten and Felicia remain nominated with the former remaining the target. Kirsten campaigned a little bit, but the bulk of the action of the day was dominated by this cast’s favorite thing: making alliances and side alliances.
There is a split house and everyone knows it because the upstairs crew of Family Style has not done a great job of hiding it. That side thinks they’re in control and they ostensibly have Jared, who is obviously devoted to Cirie but isn’t an official member of Bye Bye Bitches or the Professors. Mother and son are in final threes with Felicia and Izzy separately and formed yet another new alliance on Monday, Brown Sugar Babes, with Felicia and Mecole.

In the weeks leading up to the release of Barbie last month (not to mention the SAG-AFTRA strike), actress and producer Margot Robbie revealed just how hard she had to pitch taking a chance on what was an elevated interpretation of a Barbie movie… Robbie had to also pitch why she wanted to make it a Greta Gerwig movie.
“I think my pitch in the greenlight meeting was the studios have prospered so much when they’re brave enough to pair a big idea with a visionary director,” Robbie told Collider. “And then I gave a series of examples like, ‘dinosaurs and [Steven] Spielberg’ — pretty much naming anything that’s been incredible and made a ton of money for the studios over the years. And I was like, ‘And now you’ve got Barbie and Greta Gerwig.’ And I think I told them it’d make a billion dollars, which maybe I was overselling,...

It was a chaotic first weekend in the “Big Brother 25” house, but one thing has been constant: Kirsten is still the target.
Reilly removed Cory and Jared from the block on Friday, leaving Felicia up there as a pawn, assuring her that she’s got the votes to stay. On Saturday, Hisam won the Veto and there are no plans for him to use it, despite a valiant campaign by Kirsten, so noms will remain the same and Kirsten will be the first boot of the season (or will she just go to the Nether Region?).
Meanwhile, alliances have formed (obviously) and this cast is all about protection. There is an alliance of eight called Family Style with Reilly, Jag, Blue, Matt, Cameron, Cory, America and Jared. Within that, there’s the Handful with Reilly, Jag, Blue, Matt and Cameron. And within that Crowd Control with Reilly, Jag and Blue.

“Barbie” is the latest film to cross the $1 billion mark at the worldwide box office, a feat accomplished by only 52 other films in history. The oldest film on the list is Steven Spielberg’s “Jurassic Park,” which didn’t crack the $1 billion mark until the film’s 20th anniversary re-release in 2013. The first film to ever crack $1 billion was James Cameron’s Oscar-winning “Titanic,” which still sits at #3 on the list with a whopping $2.2 billion. Cameron, of course, dominates the list with three films in the Top 5 including “Avatar,” still the highest-grossing film ever made.
The Marvel Cinematic Universe has more films in the $1 billion club than any other franchise with 10, while Disney has more films on the list than any other studio with 24 thanks to Marvel, Pixar, “Star Wars” and Disney animation and live-action remakes.

Gabe Hilfer is now a two-time Emmy nominee in the relatively new category of Best Music Supervision, earning his first last year for Netflix’s “Ozark” and his second this year for HBO’s “The White Lotus.” “I’m super humbled and flattered to be nominated for two totally different projects,” Hilfer tells me. “Literally it could not have been more different episodes to be nominated for.” Watch the exclusive video interview above.
“A lot of the source music, the license music, the on-camera performances — all of that stuff is really what this category is about,” Hilfer explains about Best Music Supervision, which was first handed out at the 2017 Emmys. He adds that a music supervisor works on a project “from the script level and figures out how to get the showrunner’s vision up on the screen through songs, through performances, through pre-records, and all of what goes into that.

Movie legend Ridley Scott and Avatar director James Cameron both played a part in making the Alien franchise the iconic films they are today. There was speculation about the two teaming up to revisit the successful series. But Alien vs. Predator stood in the way of that team-up.
How ‘Alien vs Predator’ ruined a potential Ridley Scott and James Cameron ‘Alien’ sequel James Cameron | Craig Barritt/Getty Images
Alien vs. Predator was the fifth film in the Alien franchise. As the title suggests, the feature would pit two classic sci-fi horror creatures together in a blockbuster cinematic bout. It was a premise that Scott was against from the beginning.
“I think Alien vs. Predator was a daft idea,” Scott once told The Hollywood Reporter. “And I’m not sure it did very well or not, I don’t know. But it somehow brought down the beast. And I said to them,...

Once again, we've got two entirely different stories at play, threaded together by Claire's letter, written her present and in Brianna's past.
Another tie that binds them both is how the family is in grave danger -- Brianna's family due to the nefarious Rob Cameron and Claire's due to the wages of war.
Outlander Season 7 Episode 7 sets up the midseason finale with aching realities that we know will carry well into the second half of the season.
Let's start with the good. Roger MacKenzie and his great great great (many greats) Grandda put the past behind them and started fresh.
There's something about time travel that allows for bygones being bygones.

Update: It looks like the Cannes trailer that went up earlier was in fact a leak so we had to take it down. Nonetheless, it did its job, which was to create a bit of buzz for this really cool looking epic. Hopefully the official release happens soon!
Original Post: A release date still hasn’t been announced for director Moritz Mohr’s dystopian action thriller Boy Kills World, which stars Bill Skarsgard (It) and Jessica Rothe (Happy Death Day) – but while we wait for that information, a mysterious “Cannes trailer” for the film has made its way online, and you can check it out in the embed above!
Boy Kills World has been rated R for strong bloody violence and gore throughout, language, some drug use and sexual references… and you can see some of the reasons for that rating in the Cannes trailer.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 4 final charter guests Todd Cameron and his boyfriend Grant Foreman spilled that another iteration of the series is in the works that may feature the naughtiest of yachties.
“A new iteration of Below Deck is coming out,” Cameron dished on the Another Below Deck podcast. “And it might explain why some people’s behavior is this way.”
“There’s kind of an all-star thing coming,” he teased. “Or not so star.”
The guest left far more tip money
The final Below Deck Sailing Yacht charter guests left a pretty decent tip of $17,500 or $1,944 for each crew member. And while it wasn’t necessarily a light tip, some of the charter guests brawled and were especially messy. One guest vomited in the bathroom sink. Another guest pooped and never flushed the toilet.

It’s hard to believe today, after Speed and four Matrix movies, and four John Wick movies, but there
was a time when Keanu Reeves was not considered viable as an action star, especially after his portrayal
of lovable time-traveling doofus Ted Theodore Logan in Bill & Ted’S Excellent Adventure.
But that perception radically changed in 1991 with the adrenaline extravaganza Point Break, which
featured Reeves as an FBI agent hot on the trail of some bank-robbing surfers led by Patrick Swayze. But how exactly did this preposterous combination ever reach the beach? Grab your board and catch a wave as we find out Wtf Happened to this movie!
The idea for Point Break first surfaced in the mind of filmmaker Rick King [The Killing Time] after he
saw a newspaper article declaring Los Angeles as the bank-robbing capital of America thanks to the
getaway convenience provided by the city’s numerous freeways.

Hollywood A-lister Matt Damon was “desperate” to work with James Cameron on the ‘Avatar’ franchise, but he has no regrets about turning down the offer to continue with the ‘Bourne’ franchise.
‘The Bourne Identity’ star, 52, is thought to have missed out on a $250 million payday by turning down the role of Jake Sully, which went to Sam Worthington, in Cameron’s 2009 sci-fi epic.
But Damon has insisted he couldn’t have left his friends “in the lurch” by quitting the ‘Bourne’ movies.
As per ‘Female First UK’, speaking to CNN’s Chris Wallace, he said: “I’m sure it’s the most money an actor ever turned down, you know? I had a contract. I was in the middle of shooting the ‘Bourne’ movie and I knew that we were going to need work at the end, and I had to get it all the way to the finish line...

Matt Damon has few regrets — except turning down James Cameron’s 2009 “Avatar,” and he’s now explaining why.
The actor, who plays army general Leslie Groves in Christopher Nolan’s “Oppenheimer,” detailed in a recent Chris Wallace interview why he had to walk away from starring in Cameron’s $2.8-billion-grossing original space epic. Damon previously said that his salary plus backend box office profits on “Avatar” would have netted the actor at least $250 million.
“I’m sure it’s the most money an actor ever turned down, you know?” said Damon, who at the time was under contract to complete the action-espionage “Bourne” series. By the time “Avatar” production ramped up, Damon had completed “The Bourne Identity,” “The Bourne Supremacy,” and was shooting 2007’s “The Bourne Ultimatum,” with “Legacy” and “Jason Bourne” still to come.

Sandra Bullock’s 2013 hit film Gravity enjoyed a lot of praise from both audiences and critics alike. But even fellow filmmakers lauded the film’s quality, including sci-fi filmmaker James Cameron.
James Cameron opened up on what impressed him about ‘Gravity’ James Cameron | Axelle/Bauer-Griffin/FilmMagic
Gravity was one of Bullock’s biggest films. It was both a major critical and commercial success, and was congratulated for its technological achievements. The film’s director, Alfonso Cuaron, was very candid about the difficulty it took bringing the movie to the big screen. While developing the feature, Cuaron was offered advice by a couple of experienced filmmakers in the industry.
David Fincher, who was used to implementing cutting edge technology in his own films, felt Cuaron should hold off in making the feature. Fincher believed it would take at least five years for technology to catch up to the film’s ideas.

Movies directed by James Cameron are the closest Hollywood studios will ever come to finding a sure thing. Cameron has spent over 40 years directing blockbusters, and the man simply does not miss at the box office. His unique command of spectacle and ongoing commitment to technological innovation have allowed him to craft a seemingly endless string of hits, and he has consistently been able to pull rabbits out of his hat on even the riskiest film projects.
Cameron launched his career in 1984 with “The Terminator,” a groundbreaking sci-fi blockbuster that turned Arnold Schwarzenegger into a bona fide movie star. From there, he dipped his toe into Ridley Scott’s sandbox to direct “Aliens,” which quickly became regarded as one of the best sequels of all time. Cameron never lost his knack for sequels, and his decision to blow up his original premise turned “Terminator 2: Judgement Day” into an instant classic.

Director James Cameron, who is known for films such as ‘Terminator’, ‘The Abyss’, ‘Aliens’ ‘Terminator 2’, ‘Titanic’ and ‘Avatar’ all of which revolutionised VFX forever, has also become an outspoken critic of AI overuse, believing that AI engineered scripts will lack human emotion and be as bland as it can be, and as such he has no interest in using AI created scripts.

Has Abe's abduction storyline gone on too long?
Our TV Fanatic, Jack, is joined by Horizon and Andy from MyHourglass, a Days of Our Lives fan forum, to debate Sloan being pregnant, Li and Melinda's blind date, if Chad or Alex was more obnoxious and more!

Love triangles are a soap staple, but has there ever been a triangle story you've enjoyed? Also, do you have a most hated love triangle in Salem?
Horizon: Funky triangles like Johnny, Chanel, and Allie, along with Brady, Philp, and Chloe, haven't been entertaining at all. And any triangle involving Eric and Nicole is dead on arrival. Although I must say, I like it when Sloan and Nicole go at it like alley cats when it comes to Eric.
I suppose the quirkier triangles are preferable.

Oscar-winning “Titanic” filmmaker James Cameron isn’t giving up on deep sea exploration just yet.
Rising as one of the most prominent proponents of the continued, safe exploration of our oceans in the wake of June’s OceanGate submersible tragedy, Cameron told The Guardian in an interview published Saturday that he believes deep sea dives are still “safer than getting an elevator and safer than getting on an airplane.”
Cameron did not just write and direct the defining piece of entertainment surrounding the sinking of the Titanic. He has also for years been part of a small community of people who willfully explore the furthest reaches of the sea, making him a subject matter expert that many turned to last month after five people, including OceanGate CEO Stockton Rush, died when the company’s Titan submersible imploded while journeying to the wreckage of the Titanic at the bottom of the Northern Atlantic.

Greg Gutfeld gladly took the bait James Cameron dangled when the “Terminator” director joked he warned society about the dangers of AI way back in 1984 with the making of the classic Arnold Schwarzenegger film.
It was all the Fox News host needed to crack one back at Cameron.
And Gutfeld being Gutfeld, it got personal.
“Cameron’s had five failed marriages,” Gutfeld said, delivering the punchline at the close of a five-minute segment on “The Five” about Cameron’s comments. “Didn’t predict that.”
“Let’s not call them failures,” cohost Jesse Watters piled on, before moving the show onto other topics.
For his part, Gutfeld, 58, appears to have waited until the tender age of 40 to get married. Nearly 20 years later, his marriage to former Russian model, fashion stylist and Maxim Russia photo editor, Elena Moussa — whom he “foolishly hit on for three days” after meeting her — seems to be working out.

Gareth Edwards, Justin Simien, Louis Leterrier Share Hollywood War Stories, Talk Original Movies, AI
While their upcoming movies may not have had panels at 2023 San Diego Comic-Con, Gareth Edwards and Justin Simien, who respectively have sci-fi thriller Creator and Disney’s Haunted Mansion hitting theaters in the coming weeks, managed to give their projects a spotlight, despite the ongoing actors and writers strikes.

The Halloween (2018) episode of Wtf Happened to This Horror Movie? was Written and Narrated by Jason Hewlett, Edited by Jaime Vasquez, Produced by Lance Vlcek and John Fallon, and Executive Produced by Berge Garabedian.
When it comes to horror franchises the Halloween series is a bit like Chewbacca; it doesn’t make a lot of sense narratively unless you really understand what is going on. That’s right, you just heard a Star Wars reference in a video about a Halloween movie. Just roll with it… Technically the Halloween films are four different stories and one one-off tale told over the course of thirteen films, if my math is right away. Only one of these narrative shifts seems to have been done for creative reasons while the rest were undertaken in an effort to continue the series and make more money from the Halloween brand. If this sounds cynical to you,...

Los Angeles, July 20 (Ians) Artificial Intelligence has become the bane of Hollywood these days, and as the industry grapples with the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes leading to financial losses and delay/cancellation of content, various filmmakers and actors too have taken note of advancing AI and its overuse by big studios.
However, James Cameron had already warned the world of AI’s potential damage 40 years ago and how it could take over existing systems in his iconic sci-fi film ‘Terminator’ who had already given a scenario of what could happen if AI became weaponised.
According to ‘People’ magazine, the Academy Award-winning director said in a recent interview with CTV News while talking about his own views on the ongoing debate about artificial intelligence and it taking over writing and production.
“I warned you guys in 1984, and you didn’t listen,” Cameron told CTV News. The director further said that he...

Los Angeles, July 20 (Ians) Former ‘Emmerdale’ actor Max Parker has shared his rather hilarious encounter with Hollywood star Chris Hemsworth which was nothing less than awkward.
The actor who previously played chef Luke Posner on Emmerdale has taken to his Instagram and Threads account to share the awkward run-in which he admits he’ll “treasure”, reports mirror.
Although it’s not clear how the Manchester-born actor met the Australian star but the troublesome interaction certainly left a lasting impression on Parker.
Taking to his Instagram page to share a preview of a post which he initially posted on his Threads account, Max caused a social media storm by revealing what actually happened.
He penned: “Chris Hemsworth somehow opened my locked cubicle door and caught me p*****g whilst picking my nose. Imma treasure that moment,” alongside a smug-faced emoji.
“Standing or sit down wee though? One has more of an impact than the other,...

James Cameron does not fear artificial intelligence conquering Hollywood. The use of AI to replicate actors on screen is one of the main causes of the current SAG-AFTRA strike that has brought the film industry to a halt but the 'Titanic' director believes that the technology will never be able to replicate a script written with human emotion.James told CTV News: "It's never an issue of who wrote it, it's a question of, is it a good story? "I just don't personally believe that a disembodied mind that's just regurgitating what other embodied minds have said - about the life they've had, about love, about lying, about fear, about mortality - and just put it all together into a word salad and the regurgitate it. I don't believe that has something that's going to move an audience."The filmmaker added: "Let's wait 20 years, and if an...

How has it only been one year since Kate Drew died as of Nancy Drew Season 4 Episode 8?
The only explanation is that this is TV time. Sometimes that involves time jumps of months or years. And sometimes, a series that airs over years only spans a very short period of time for the characters involved.
But it felt jarring that after all Nancy and the Drew Crew have been through, it's all taken place in one year.
The Freaky Friday style twist of having the crew swap bodies was strangely amusing as I had to keep reminding myself who was in whose body.
That is except for Bess being in Nick's body. Tunji Kasim was phenomenal at making me believe Bess now inhabited Nick's body. The voice and mannerisms were spot-on and really funny.
But speaking of Nick, was turning down the town council seat the right move? Wouldn't it...

“Tiny Dancer” is a song many would think about when referencing Elton John. However, the track was not immediately hit upon its release and needed help from other pop culture mediums. In 2000, a Cameron Crowe movie featured a scene with “Tiny Dancer” that John believes “resurrected” the catchy tune.
Elton John said ‘Tiny Dancer’ was ‘resurrected’ by ‘Almost Famous’
Almost Famous is a 2000 comedy-drama film directed by Cameron Crowe. The film stars Patrick Fugit, Billy Crudup, Frances McDormand, and Kate Hudson. It centers around a teenage writer for Rolling Stone who tours with the fictitious band, Stillwater, to write a cover story on the band. While the film wasn’t a box office smash, it received praise from critics and audiences alike and was nominated for four Academy Awards.
One iconic scene from the movie takes place on the tour bus, where the band engages in a spontaneous sing-along session...
