- She began her writing career as an assistant to the writing team on All My Children (1970) in 1979 and began writing for the show full time in late 1981. She won two Daytime Emmys (with Wisner Washam) for Outstanding Writing in a Drama Series. She has also won a Writer's Guild Award and two GLAAD Awards.
