Édouard Bourdet was born on October 26, 1887 in Saint-Germain-en-Laye, Seine-et-Oise [now Yvelines], France. He was a writer and actor, known for Vient de paraître (1949), Fric-Frac (1939) and Weaker Sex (1933). He was married to Denise Bourdet and Catherine Pozzi. He died on January 17, 1945 in Paris, France.
