Candace Bushnell is not creatively attached to And Just Like That…, the Sex and the City reboot. She still has plenty of opinions on Carrie Bradshaw’s love life, though. In a recent interview, Bushnell confidently asserted that Carrie Bradshaw probably could have been pretty happy with how her life would have turned out if she had married Aidan Shaw. The statement starkly contrasts Bushnell’s thoughts on the subject just a year ago.
Candace Bushnell thinks Carrie and Aidan could have been happy together
Candace Bushnell has seemingly changed her stance on Carrie Bradshaw’s love life. As the author of Sex and the City and the inspiration for Carrie Bradshaw, no one would know better who the quirky sex columnist belonged with, yet she remains unsure. In 2023, the famed author took to X to reveal that she didn’t think either one of Carrie’s “big loves” was the right fit for her.

In season 6 of Sex and the City, Carrie Bradshaw hooked up with Jack Berger. Upon first glance, Berger appeared to be Carrie’s perfect match. The sex columnist seemed so sure of Berger that she was willing to ignore some serious red flags from the novelist. Despite Carrie’s attempts to make the relationship work, Berger broke her heart in the coldest way possible. He ended their romance on a Post-It note.
A closer look at their fictional courtship reveals an odd detail that foreshadowed their breakup.

Jack Berger and Carrie dated briefly in the first half of season 6 of Sex and the City, although he appeared on the scene in the previous season. While Carrie and Berger had plenty in common, their relationship was troubled. The duo just couldn’t seem to get it right.

Miranda Hobbes was the first of her pals to leave Manhattan and buy a house. In season 6 of Sex and the City, she gave up her classic Manhattan apartment and moved to Brooklyn to give her marriage and son room to grow. Decades later, Miranda was still living in the same Brooklyn home when she decided to leave married life behind. While Steve Brady and Miranda Hobbes have only briefly discussed the Brooklyn home they share in And Just Like That…, we can’t help but wonder just how much it is worth today.
Where is Miranda and Steve’s Brooklyn brownstone located?
Steve Brady and Miranda Hobbes purchased their Brooklyn abode in 2006, just as Brady Hobbes was getting mobile. While the duo never stated where the home was located, outside of Miranda uttering the word “Brooklyn” with disdain, fans have always assumed they lived in one of the borough’s trendier neighborhoods.

If one old boyfriend wasn’t enough for And Just Like That… fans, there is another former Sex and the City flame ready to reprise his role. And Just Like That… is set to begin filming its third season. While most of the cast is prepped and ready to head back to the streets of New York City, a couple of characters will be missing. Che Diaz, portrayed by Sara Ramirez, was reportedly dropped from the show several weeks back. Now, a scheduling conflict has made it impossible for Karen Pittman to return as Professor Nya Wallace.
Karen Pittman will not return to ‘And Just Like That…’ due to ‘scheduling conflicts’
Karen Pitman appeared in And Just Like That… as Professor Nya Wallace, a law professor who turns into Miranda Hobbes’ friend. Nya’s storyline was nuanced and interesting. While season 2 showed Nya getting her life back in order post-divorce, fans won’t get a chance to see how it all turns out. The cast of And Just Like That… took a big break from filming. The cast finished filming for season 2 in April 2023. Now, they are ready to head back to the set for season 3. While the cast is getting ready to hit the streets of New York, they are staying very quiet about what Sex and the City fans can expect from season 3 of the reboot. An Instagram story might hint that Carrie Bradshaw’s new apartment, featured in season 2, will be part of the story.

Charlotte York has the most successful marriage in Sex and the City. Her relationship with Harry Goldenblatt is considered the perfect relationship by many fans. Fans are happy for the fictional Park Avenue Princess. After all, she deserved her happy ending after her disastrous first marriage. Still, if you think about it, Charlotte learned nothing from her marriage to Trey MacDougal. She rushed into marriage No. 2, too.
Charlotte York’s first marriage should have never happened
Charlotte York was obsessed with getting married from the moment Sex and the City started, so it was no surprise that she was the first member of her girl group to tie the knot. The marriage, however, shouldn’t have ever happened.

The cast of And Just Like That… will return to the set this spring, ending more than a year-long filming hiatus. The Sex and the City reboot wrapped filming for season 2 of the series last March, and while season 3 of the show was confirmed by Max months ago, there appeared to be absolutely no movement on production. Now, we have a date. Carrie Bradshaw, Miranda Hobbes, Charlotte York, and their pals will take over the streets of Manhattan in May.
‘And Just Like That…’ season 3 will begin filming in New York City this Spring
And Just Like That… fans have finally gotten the update they needed to breathe easier. After an extremely long hiatus, the cast has an official filming date. Entertainment Tonight caught up with several of the reboot’s stars at the Michael Kors Fall/Winter Fashion Show earlier this month and learned exactly when the cast will return to the set.

Carrie Bradshaw may have been the main protagonist in Sex and the City, but that doesn’t mean fans of the series always agreed with the decisions she made. Actually, many viewers are highly critical of Carrie and have accused the character of massive overreactions and poor behavior over the years. Still, there were times when everyone was totally on her side. Here are three examples.
‘Sex and the City’ fans agree that Kyra should have paid for Carrie’s shoes
By season 6 of Sex and the City, many fans had grown tired of Carrie’s constant need to see herself as the victim. Still, most viewers agree Carrie was 100% right to ask her friend, Kyra, to replace her shoes. They also agree Kyra was completely wrong for shaming Carrie for her spending habits.

Have you ever wondered how characters get their names? Sex and the City used its source material for most of its main characters, but the writing team decided on the names for guest stars and characters that came later. Aidan Shaw, Carrie’s second big love, was named after the actor initially considered for the role that went to John Corbett.

Aidan Shaw could have had any other name, but the writing team liked the name after hearing it on an actor they considered for the role. That actor was too busy for the part, but the first name stuck.

There is some bad news for And Just Like That… fans. The Sex and the City reboot is returning for a third season, but it will be at least another year before fans get any resolution to Carrie Bradshaw’s storyline. In a surprise announcement, Max revealed that the hit original will not return to the streaming platform until 2025. Further details are not available.
‘And Just Like That…’ will not return for season 3 until 2025
In the final moments of 2023, Max decided to gear up its subscribers with a preview of what they can expect in 2024 and beyond. And Just Like That… season 3 is not a part of the 2024 schedule. Instead, fans will need to wait to see what happens. The show is not slated to premiere until 2025, and there is no indication if that will occur at the beginning of the year or the end.
The reason for the long wait is two-fold.

Frances Sternhagen, a stage and TV actor best known for her role in Sex and the City, has died. Sternhagen died in her home in New Rochelle, New York, of natural causes on Nov. 27. She was 93. Following news of the famed actor’s death, her costars paid tribute to her on social media. Sarah Jessica Parker and Kristin Davis had kind words about the actor who expertly portrayed Bunny MacDougal during seasons 3 and 4 of Sex and the City.
What roles was Frances Sternhagen famous for?
Frances Sternhagen’s illustrious career spanned several decades, but HBO fans will likely recognize her for her role in Sex and the City. In the series, Sternhagen took on the part of Bunny MacDougal, the overbearing and incredibly difficult mother of Trey MacDougal. While Bunny was far from a main character, she was a formidable foe for Charlotte York. The two socialites often went head to head.

And Just Like That… will be back, at some point, with a third season. When the show will return to Max completely depends on the SAG-AFTRA strike. In the meantime, we’ve done some thinking. Seasons 1 and 2 of And Just Like That fell flat for many original Sex and the City fans. We think there are some changes that the production team could make to entice fans of the original series to fall in love with the reboot.
It’s time to drop Ltw and Herbert Wexley
Nicole Ari Parker is a great actor, as is Christopher Jackson. While the actors certainly do the characters of Lisa Todd Wexley and Herbert Wexley justice, the fictional couple still haven’t found where they “fit” in the overall show. Sex and the City premiered in 1998 when Carrie Bradshaw and her pals, Miranda Hobbes, Charlotte York, and Samantha Jones, were in their 30s and 40s. The foursome was long out from their college years, but a few of the show’s main characters did mention their educational backgrounds. We know that Charlotte, Samantha, and Miranda attended college, but do you remember exactly where Miranda Hobbes earned her degrees?
Where did Miranda Hobbes earn her bachelor’s degree?
Miranda Hobbes was already a lawyer when Sex and the City opened, so the college she attended for her undergraduate degree was never mentioned. In fact, only one Sex and the City character ever said where they received their undergraduate degree. Charlotte York revealed she attended Smith College. Samantha Jones noted that she attended college, but she never mentioned where she went.
Still, we can make some assumptions about Miranda’s collegiate career.

When Sex and the City began in 1998, it focused on the life of sex columnist Carrie Bradshaw and her pals. Across six seasons, fans watched the women work, play, and love in New York City. They also watched them evolve. Carrie Bradshaw’s career started with a sex column and ended with her as the author of several books. Do you remember how many books Carrie penned?
‘Sex and the City’ was the first book Carrie Bradshaw authored
In season 5 of Sex and the City, Carrie goes from columnist to author when a publishing house turns her sex columns into a book. Seasons 5 and 6 touched on the publishing process from time to time.

The collection of columns was more successful than anyone imagined it would be. The book was so popular that French fans recognized the infamous writer during her short stay in Paris.

The finale of And Just Like That… season 2 was much like the rest of the season, heavily debated. When the season came to a close, Carrie Bradshaw and Aidan Shaw put their romance back on hold while Aidan dealt with his son, Wyatt. Fans have spent the days since the finale debating whether Aidan was right to ask Carrie to hang out for five years and whether Carrie should have accepted the bizarre condition. While both are great questions, we prefer to look back at the good moments in the couple’s rekindled relationship. More specifically, we hunted for all the Easter eggs that called back to the couple’s first and second go-arounds in Sex and the City. These are our three favorites.

Spoiler alert! If you haven’t seen the season 2 finale of “And Just Like That”, proceed with caution.
And we couldn’t help but wonder, what exactly is going on in Manhattan? The season 2 finale of the “Sex and the City” reboot, “And Just Like That”, was more vague and open-ended than Anthony’s Italian boyfriend’s poetry career.
It started off on a good note with Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker) taking a delightful phone call from her former bestie, Samantha Jones (Kim Cattrall). The previously teased exchange was light and fun, with a little reference to a past “Sex and the City” bit.
Things were on the upswing as a hungover Charlotte York Goldenblatt (Kristin Davis) informed her husband, Harry Goldenblatt (Evan Handler), that he was not, in fact, doing the most but rather the “bare minimum” in an epic soft-spoken feminist monologue to rival that of America Ferrera in the “Barbie” movie.

Max officially renewed And Just Like That… ahead of its much-anticipated season two finale which will feature the return of Kim Cattrall as Samantha. Season two episode 11 – part two of “The Last Supper” – finally delivers the cameo fans of the original foursome have eagerly anticipated.
Even though Samatha won’t be sharing scenes with her former Sex and the City co-stars, Cattrall will be seen in a cameo, styled by Patricia Field and shot in secret. In an interview on Today with Hoda and Jenna, Kim Cattrall confirmed that shopping in Bergdorf’s and picking out a great outfit for her cameo felt like dipping her toe back in time and having a wonderful afternoon.
However, fans shouldn’t expect Kim Cattrall back for the just-announced third season. It seems this short cameo is a one-off and not a precursor to an extended return as Samantha.

Carrie Bradshaw’s story is not yet complete. While And Just Like That…, the Max reboot of the iconic Sex and the City, has plenty of critics, the series has enough fans to warrant a third season. Max has announced the show will return for a third season just days before the season 2 finale is set to air, complete with a cameo from the much-missed Samantha Jones.
‘And Just Like That…’ gets greenlit for season 3 ahead of season 2 finale
And Just Like That… viewers won’t be tuning into a series finale come Thursday morning. While season 2 is coming to a close, Max has already committed to continuing the story. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Sarah Aubrey, head of original content for Max, released a statement announcing the third season on Aug. 22. The season finale will be released on Aug. 24.

Subtle details in costume design, hairstyling and even production design showed the growth and progression of Selena Gomez’s Mabel in Hulu’s “Only Murders in the Building.” Season 2 begins where the first left off — Mabel is the prime suspect after being found by the side of the dead body of Bunny, who lives in the same building as Mabel, Oliver (Martin Short) and Charles (Steve Martin).
When audiences were first introduced to Mabel in Season 1, she’s someone who is trying to protect herself. Costume designer Dana Covarrubias says, “I put her in chunky- soled boots and big puffy coats and jackets that create this sense of a protective armor around her.”
As the season progresses and she begins to connect with Oliver and Charles, she softens up. Solving a murder and being implicated in a murder brings the podcasting trio closer together.

Carrie Bradshaw’s iconic brownstone unit was the envy of every Sex and the City fan in the 1990s. It became so iconic that the unit was basically an additional cast member. In the most recent episode of And Just Like That…, Carrie said goodbye to her East 73rd Street pad, presumably for good this time, and we’d be lying if we said it didn’t make us a little bit sad. Let’s look at all the apartments Carrie’s lived in. Despite her studio’s importance to the overall show, she’s lived in several spots.
Carrie’s Brownstone apartment is iconic
Carrie briefly lived in an apartment above a store in the pilot of Sex and the City, but by episode two, she was living in her iconic brownstone apartment. Because the pilot apartment is never mentioned, we don’t count it as an official home for Carrie Bradshaw.

Miranda Hobbes was the first of her pals to purchase her apartment. She has since sold the property and is now spending her 50s couchsurfing following a divorce. Honestly, almost no one loves what has happened to Miranda Hobbes since the end of Sex and the City. Let’s take a look back at a better time in the fictional lawyer’s life and check out Miranda Hobbes’ original apartment. Do you remember where it was located? We do.
When did Miranda Hobbes buy her apartment?
When Sex and the City ended, all four women owned their own homes. Samantha Jones kept things cool in the Meatpacking District, while Charlotte York called Park Avenue home. Carrie Bradshaw had settled comfortably into her Brownstone co-op on East 73rd Street. While the ladies were all homeowners by the end of the series, Miranda Hobbes was the first to set down permanent roots.

Sex and the City fans have had a lot of criticism for the Max reboot of the iconic series. Present-day Miranda Hobbes has gotten the most hate from Sex and the City fans, though. Once a beloved character, Miranda has been stripped down and completely changed, argue some viewers. Still, there might be more of the Old Miranda in the new Miranda’s actions than anyone realizes. We’ve collected three ways present-day Miranda is just like the Miranda of the original series.
Miranda has always expected Steve to pine for her
Miranda Hobbes might seem different, but she still treats Steve Brady the same way. It is not a compliment. In Sex and the City, Miranda toyed with Steve’s emotions and only really seemed to want to be with him when he was with other women. In season 4 of the famed series, Miranda freaked out when Steve was dating a woman named Jessica.

And just like that, Sex and the City fans finally laid eyes on the woman Aidan Shaw married. Kathy, Aidan’s ex-wife, appeared for the first time in “There Goes the Neighborhood,” the most recent episode of the iconic series’ reboot. While Kathy is brand new to the series, the actor who played her has an interesting connection to the original Sex and the City. Rosemarie DeWitt portrayed Kathy. The actor, best known for her work in La La Land and The Staircase, is married to one of Carrie Bradshaw’s failed love interests.
Rosemarie DeWitt is married to Ron Livingston
In And Just Like That… Dewitt plays Aidan Shaw’s ex-wife, Kathy, but in real life, DeWitt is married to Ron Livingston. Livingston and DeWitt tied the knot in 2009. They share two children, the first of whom they adopted in 2013. In 2016, they welcomed their second child through adoption.

Welcome back to another week of Carrie and Aidan’s Love-a-Palooza, where time is a construct and real-life problems don’t exist. On this week’s episode of the “Sex and the City” Max spinoff series, “And Just Like That”, Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker) and Aidan Shaw (John Corbett) are still riding the midnight train to Virginia like it ain’t no thang.
Viewers totally miss out on views of Aidan’s Virginia farmhouse and Carrie’s interactions with his three sons — Homer, Tate and Wyatt.
In fact, the only clue that there might have been the smallest amount of drama is when Carrie says Wyatt “was not buying what I was selling.”

The latest chapter of Sex and the City, Max’s And Just Like That... is currently in its second season. While fans are divided on the show, most notably on Miranda Hobbes’ sudden lifestyle shift, others are loving the chance to reconnect with the characters they love so much. Although many writers and producers have a hand in making the Satc franchise so detailed and intricate, a few details have slipped through the cracks over the years. Most recently, after a brand-new episode of And Just Like That…, fans called out the fact that actor Peter Hermann, who played Carrie’s new love interest in the episode, had previously appeared in Satc, playing a totally different character.

Carrie Bradshaw posed an incredibly complicated question in the most recent episode of And Just Like That…., the Max reboot of Sex and the City. Now that her love affair with Aidan Shaw is renewed, she wonders whether Mr. Big was a big mistake all along. The question and the way the storyline played out in the most recent reboot episode has angered some Sex and the City fans. Several have taken to social media to lambast the show for throwing away years of emotional build-up by suggesting Carrie and Mr. Big’s marriage was a big mistake. Carrie’s question got us wondering, though. Had Mr. Big not come along when he did, would Carrie have been happy in her relationship with Aidan in 2001? We went looking for evidence in Sex and the City, and you might be surprised by what we found.

Sex and the City fans will finally meet Kathy, the woman Aidan Shaw married after his big breakup with Carrie Bradshaw. While Kathy was never seen in the original series, she was mentioned once in seaosn six and again in Sex and the City 2. While fans know that Aidan and Kathy married sometime before Carrie ran into him in an awkward season 6 encounter, they never learned much about their relationship timeline. We’ve gathered everything we have learned about Kathy and Aidan from Sex and the City and And Just Like That… so far.
When did Aidan and Kathy meet?
By the time Carrie ran into Aidan in the season 6 episode, “To Market, to Market,” he was married and already had a baby who appeared to be about four months old. The timeline doesn’t make much sense. Still, we can assume Aidan met Kathy not long after he and Carrie split for good.

New York City always served as an unofficial fifth cast member on Sex and the City. The reboot, And Just Like That…, treats Manhattan in much the same way. While fans spend a fair bit of time watching Carrie, Charlotte, and Miranda live in their private spaces, they do a fair bit of eating and drinking around, too. During the show’s first two seasons, Carrie and her friends have wined, dined, and grabbed coffee at dozens of New York City establishments. We’ve collected five local food spots featured on And Just Like That… that you can check out right now.

After seven episodes into “And Just Like That” season 2, fans finally witnessed Aidan Shaw’s (John Corbett) anticipated return to the “Sex and the City” franchise.
Now that Carrie Bradshaw’s (Sarah Jessica Parker) beloved ex is back in the mix, fans are wondering what storyline will ensue given that Aidan “was Carrie’s best boyfriend” in the original series, said “Ajlt” writer, Samantha Irby, on the the show’s official “And Just Like That… The Writers Room” podcast. “He is the one who should have won… He and Carrie had such an insane chemistry, it was like jumping off the screen. They just looked so good and perfect.”
With that said, and the time that’s passed between them, the writers and showrunner, Michael Patrick King, decided to give Corbett “a makeover” to bring Aidan back in “a new way.”

We hold these truths to be self-evident — that Carrie Bradshaw doesn’t know how to quit a man and that Lily York Goldenblatt is the central villain in the “Sex and the City” franchise.
Thursday’s latest installment of the Max spinoff series, “And Just Like That”, featured the long-anticipated return of one Mr. Aidan Shaw (John Corbett). Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker) nervously shares that Aidan responded to her obvious booty email asking her out to dinner on Thursday, which just so happened to be Valentine’s Day. Of course, Charlotte York Goldenblatt (Kristin Davis) takes this information and runs with it with Carrie describing her pal as “Cupid on steroids.”

Carrie Bradshaw had two great loves in her life. Mr. Big, the first great love, died in the premiere episode of And Just Like That…, the Max reboot of the famed series. Her other great love, Aidan Shaw, is set to return in season 2 of the reboot. Ahead of his return to Carrie’s life, we can’t help but reminisce about how it all began. We’ve collected four episodes fans should watch before Carrie and Aidan rekindle their love.
The Season 3 episode, “No Ifs, Ands or Butts,” features the first look at Aidan Shaw
Aidan Shaw first appeared in the season 3 episode, “No Ifs, Ands or Butts.” In the episode, Carrie and Stanford Blatch head to a furniture store to “ogle” the craftsman. It turns out to be Aidan. Despite Carrie’s initial disinterest in going to the store, she is so taken by Aidan that she buys an expensive chair from him.

Che Diaz dumping Miranda Hobbes in episode six of And Just Like That… season 2 was the plot point fans of the original series have been waiting for. Miranda’s breakup drama with Che isn’t the only big issue she faced in the recent episode, though. Miranda and Steve will be ironing out their divorce, and it looks like their Brooklyn pad will be a point of contention. The couple purchased the home in 2004 when Brooklyn was just beginning to appeal to the masses. Nearly 20 years later, the borough is a popular destination for young families. So, just how much is Miranda and Steve’s renovated house worth? We did some digging and have the answer.
How much is Miranda and Steve’s house worth?
When Miranda and Steve decided to leave Miranda’s one-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment, she wasn’t thrilled. She absolutely did not want to move to Brooklyn.

It was the split few saw coming on the “Sex and the City” Max reboot, “And Just Like That…”. Though Miranda Hobbes’ (Cynthia Nixon) relationship with Ché Diaz (Sara Ramirez) was a controversial move in the beloved franchise, the pair seemed smitten in their passionate love affair.
But in this week’s most recent episode, they call it quits just moments after Miranda finally decides to proceed with her divorce from her estranged husband, Steve Brady (David Eigenberg).
In an interview conducted with USA Today before the SAG-AFTRA strike, Ramirez, the nonbinary actor who plays the on-screen nonbinary comedian, discussed the trajectory of Miranda and Ché’s tumultuous relationship that ultimately ended in heartbreak.

Miranda Hobbes and Che Diaz’s situationship is among the most hated storylines of And Just Like That…, the controversial Sex and the City reboot. Carrie Bradshaw was always known for her innovative and off-the-wall style. During Sex and the City, Carrie experimented with different looks. She wore dresses, shorts, skirts, jeans, and even a bandeau or two. Designer garments were mixed with vintage pieces, and her look evolved over time. One thing was a constant, though. Because Sex and the City was shot in perpetual spring, Carrie often wore sleeveless tops. And Just Like That… has brought many changes to the Sex and the City universe, and Carrie’s style is one of those changes. Now a 50-something widow, Carrie has mostly abandoned her sleeveless style options and is opting to wear long-sleeved dresses, visually interesting overcoats, and even a cape.

David Eigenberg has spent much of his career playing bartenders. He appeared in Sex and the City as Miranda Hobbes’ bartending love interest, Steve Brady. When that series ended, Eigenberg took on a role in Chicago Fire. He portrays Christopher Herrmann, a firefighter, and part-owner of a bar in the series. While Eigenberg is perfectly comfortable playing bartenders and owners, he does not drink. David Eigenberg has been sober for more than 30 years.

David Eigenberg had some acting jobs before Sex and the City, but the series is largely considered his breakout role. Eigenberg portrayed Steve Brady, Miranda Hobbes’ love interest. Sex and the City fans voiced many complaints about season 1 of And Just Like That…, the Max reboot of the iconic series. Miranda Hobbes’ storyline and how the show treated Steve Brady received the most backlash. It wasn’t just Miranda cheating on Steve that bothered fans, though. It was the way the show portrayed him entirely. He wasn’t a sexy but immature bartender anymore. He jumped straight to a stereotypical feeble old man. Steve seemed bewildered and weak in season 1. He acted disoriented often, and his hearing loss was mentioned too often. Clearly, the writing team was overemphasizing his “age-related” ailments. A correction has been made. Steve appeared for the first time in season 2 in episode 4, “Alive!,” and he certainly seemed more active than in season 1. So, is Steve going to get a redemption storyline? Maybe.

Cynthia Nixon is worried about what “Sex and the City” fans will think when Kim Cattrall’s Samantha Jones finally makes an appearance in “And Just Like That…” season 2.
Nixon — who plays Miranda Hobbes in the much-loved show — told Sunday Times Style that Cattrall won’t be in the show a lot.
She shared, “I worry that with all the build-up people are going to wonder what all the fuss was about. It’s important to know that it is a very brief, very small cameo,” Page Six reported.
Nixon went on, “We were very disappointed that the secret leaked of Kim’s upcoming appearance.
“We so hoped it was something people wouldn’t know about until they saw the episode and that it would be a fun surprise as they were watching.”

And Just Like That… appears to be coming into its own finally. The series, a reboot of the iconic Sex and the City, premiered in December 2021 to mixed reviews. Season 2 is recapturing some of the magic of the original series, with episode 3 of season 2 receiving largely positive reviews from fans. Viewers largely loved seeing Carrie return to her roots, reading to the fanbase, this time in the form of an audiobook recording. Seema, Charlotte, and Ltw brought a bit of light and fun into the episode. Still, there is one aspect of the reboot that fans aren’t loving.
Che Diaz, the non-binary comedian that Miranda Hobbes is now sort-of dating, is still disliked by viewers. Episode 3, titled “Chapter Three,” did little to shore up their image. Spoiler alert! If you haven’t watched the third episode of season 2 of “And Just Like That”, proceed with caution.
After a rather subdued start to season 3 last week, the “Sex and the City” spinoff series, “And Just Like That”, packed more of an emotional punch this week. As Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker) is asked to narrate the audiobook version of her book about the death of her husband, Mr. Big (Chris Noth), the fashionista is forced to relive his traumatic final moments.
Though she’d been proud of seemingly getting out on the other side of her grief, Carrie discovers that she’s far from being over the painful loss.
She runs into returning character Bitsy von Muffling (Julie Halston), who also made a cameo in the spinoff’s first season. Bitsy tells her that the second year after a loss is actually the most painful as life continues without that person.
