Dagmar Biener was born and raised in Berlin. At the age of three she
appeared in the movie 'Stips' as daughter of Gustav Fröhlich. Joining
children's ballet at the Friedrichstadtpalast she began a substantial
ballet training at early age. Her later drama school teacher was Else
Bongers in Berlin. Dagmar made her debut on stage in 1968 at the
Renaissance-Theater, Berlin. Ever since she is regularly present on a
variety of Berlin stages.
Since 1969 Dagmar Biener has participated in many TV and movie
productions. One of her first projects was the film adaptation of the
Ulrike Meinhof's play 'Bambule', directed by Eberhard von Itzenplitz.
Later she appeared in Loriot successful movies 'Ödipussi' and 'Pappa
Ante Portas'. In 1999 she shot 'Club der Millionäre' with Thorsten
Näter and appeared as Erna Goltz in Nathalie Steinbart's movie
'Endstation Tanke' in the year 2000. After being featured in Dominik
Graf's 'Hotte im Paradies' she now frequently performs in TV series
like 'Soko Leipzig', 'Soko Wismar' and 'Sabine' .
