Young Sheldon had a good run. The CBS sitcom and The Big Bang Theory prequel starring Iain Armitage, Annie Potts, and co. is now wrapping with its seventh and final season. Undoubtedly, it is much heavier on the cast to say goodbye to the show that was started about seven years ago, focusing on the younger version of Sheldon Cooper.

For Potts, it is far too hard to wrap up the show as the actor revealed that she was devastated by the news of the show ending with the seventh season. Potts first appeared in the third episode of the first season of the show playing Sheldon and his siblings’ MeeMaw, Connie Tucker, and she has been a regular till the end.

CBS is ending three of its longest-running series next month, and the network has officially confirmed the series finale dates.
Bob Hearts Abishola is kicking things off with the series finale of the Billy Gardell comedy set for Monday, May 6, at 8:30/7:30c.

Malcolm in the Middle is a cult classic coming-of-age sitcom that has left a permanent mark on early 2000s television. Created by Linwood Boomer, the series originally ran from January 9, 2000, to May 14, 2006, spanning seven seasons and 151 episodes. Even though the story ended, Malcolm in the Middle has remained a major part of television history and it is, even today, considered to have raised a whole generation of children and teenagers who devotedly watched Malcolm and his family over the years.
Now, it’s been almost 20 years since the final episode aired, but there have been talks – for a while now – that a reboot with the original cast is in the works. The project is supposedly headed by Bryan Cranston, who played Malcolm’s dad, Hal, in the original series, but nothing official has been announced.

New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers wasn’t playing around when he got the opportunity to host Jeopardy!
Following the passing of legendary Jeopardy! host Alex Trebek in 2020, the show’s producers were left with an important decision to make: who to name as his replacement.
Many Jeopardy! viewers assumed that the current host, Ken Jennings, would automatically become Alex’s replacement, but that wasn’t the case.
Producers decided it would be best to test out guest hosts to get an idea of who would make the best permanent host on Jeopardy!
Several different would-be hosts tried out for the coveted spot, including some big names such as Katie Couric, Anderson Cooper, Robin Roberts, and Mayim Bialik.
Producer Mike Richards was one of the guest hosts, and during a recent chat with People, he opened up about his short-lived hosting gig as well as the other guest hosts.

Mayim Bialik took to social media today to express her disappointment that more support for the Hamas hostages taken in the Oct. 7 raid was not expressed at the Oscars.
“Of course I have opinions about a lot of things that went down at the Oscars, both on the red carpet and on the stage, but here’s what I’m going to say: I sure wish every single human being at the Oscars would have worn a yellow ribbon to show support for Hamas immediately returning the hostages who have been held since they were seized from their homes on October 7- including American citizens. Book Soup has canceled a March 27 appearance by Stranger Things actor and author Brett Gelman.
The store claimed that escalating threats “became a safety risk we were not willing to take.” The store has hosted many controversial authors over the years and has rarely canceled, but said “the current charged environment” forced its hand.
Gelman has been outspoken in his support of Israel in the wake of Oct. 7, but claims the cancellations on his book tour were because of his emphasis on his “Jewish identity.”
Gelman’s book, The Terrifying Realm of the Possible: Nearly True Stories, is not overtly political and in the vein of Philip Roth’s Portnoy’s Complaint. The anthology weaves five interconnected short stories told through the perspective of five different Jewish characters. Gelman describes it as a “return to the literature that I loved and that I felt wasn’t being represented — dark Jewish humor.

With viewership that peaked at nearly 14 million an episode, Young Sheldon is one of the most successful sitcoms in recent memory.
And the show is spun off from The Big Bang Theory, which, despite never gaining a foothold with critics, was one of the most-watched sitcoms of all time, serving as CBS' biggest hit for much its 12-season run.
So it comes as no surprise that yet another Sheldon-verse spinoff will be coming to CBS in the very near future.
What is somewhat surprising, however, is the fact that some of the franchise's biggest stars will be reprising their roles for the upcoming Young Sheldon series finale.
It was announced this week that both Jim Parsons and Mayim Bialik will be returning to CBS as Sheldon Cooper and Amy Farrah Fowler.
Parsons is an executive producer on Young Sheldon, and he's been narrating the series since its first episode.

Shamy fans rejoice! Jim Parsons and Mayim Bialik will reprise their roles from The Big Bang Theory, Sheldon Lee Cooper, and Dr. Amy Farrah Fowler, respectively, for the series finale of the Young Sheldon prequel series! Think again if we can share details about the couple’s reunion! The powers that be are keeping that business under wraps. Will they feature in a time skip? Does Young Sheldon (Iain Armitage) invent a time machine? The mystery remains.
The couple last appeared in the May 2019 series finale of The Big Bang Theory, which included a surprisingly emotional moment of self-reflection by Parsons’ Sheldon Cooper during a Nobel Prize acceptance speech. While Young Sheldon is beloved by Big Bang Theory fans, a reunion with Sheldon and Amy will surely gain significant attention for the forthcoming finale.

After hearing their voices on the Big Bang Theory spinoff, two actors from the original series will be appearing in the Young Sheldon series finale. Jim Parsons and Mayim Bialik will be reprising their Big Bang Theory roles as Sheldon Cooper and Amy Farrah Fowler, respectively, in the Young Sheldon series finale airing Thursday, May 16 at 8/7c on CBS (and streaming on Paramount+). Any further details are being kept under wraps. Parsons and Bialik last appeared on screen together in the Big Bang Theory series finale in May 2019 (pictured above). Parsons is an executive producer on and narrates Young Sheldon. Bialik has provided a voiceover in two episodes of the spinoff. But this will be the first on-camera return of their characters. Young Sheldon was created by Chuck Lorre and Steven Molaro and follows the young version of Parsons’ character (played by Iain Armitage), a once-in-a-generation mind capable of advanced mathematics and science,...
