Bridget Moynahan is sending her positive vibes to ex Tom Brady, after a judge threw out his "Deflategate" suspension Thursday.
"Yippee! I can go back to private texts and enjoying the game congrats #TB and @Patriots #letsmoveon," the actress and model tweeted Thursday.
U.S. District Judge Richard M. Berman ruled that NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell had applied "his own brand of industrial justice" when he suspended Brady for four games.
The New England Patriots quarterback was accused of tampering with game balls during last season's Afc Championship game against the Indianapolis Colts. The NFL can appeal the ruling, but...

Good news for Tom Brady and his fans: His Deflategate scandal is over. A federal judge has thrown out the New England Patriots quarterback's four-game suspension, which the NFL had issued after concluding that he was part of an alleged scheme to under-inflate footballs used in the Afc Championship game against the Indianapolis Colts in January. Brady had denied any wrongdoing, saying there was "zero evidence." The NFL players union had in July filed a petition at a federal court to overturn Commissioner Roger Goodell's decision to uphold the suspension. Judge Richard M. Berman of Federal District Court in Manhattan ruled on Tuesday that the collective bargaining...

After recently being beaten up in prison for being labeled a "rat," Cameron Douglas is doing his best to get out of his jail time. The son of Michael Douglas filed papers to an appeals court to try to lower his nine-and-a-half year prison sentence.
Prosecutors and a lawyer for Douglas have "retold in greater detail than before how a man who seemed to have so many advantages in life could land in prison for a decade on a drug conviction," the Associated Press reports. This appeal is against Judge Richard M. Berman's decision to double Douglas' five year prison sentence after he convinced an attorney to smuggle drugs to him in her bra. It's worth noting that his original sentence was supposed to be for 10 years, but the judge on the case ended up cutting the time in half.

New York -- The Douglas name – first with patriarch Kirk and later with son Michael – has always meant gold for Hollywood. But drama for the third generation of the Douglas family has occurred mostly off-screen, where Cameron Douglas has battled drug addiction and legal troubles.
In papers submitted for appeals court arguments Wednesday, prosecutors and a lawyer for Cameron Douglas have retold in greater detail than before how a man who seemed to have so many advantages in life could land in prison for a decade on a drug conviction.
The dispute is over Manhattan Judge Richard M. Berman's decision to double Douglas' five-year prison term after he committed several new drug infractions, including convincing a lawyer-turned-love interest to sneak drugs into prison for him in her bra on three or four occasions.
Berman said he had not "ever encountered a defendant who has so recklessly and wantonly and...

Sports movies can be tricky beasts, and none moreso than the valiant, but generally in vain, effort that is the golf-related movie. Another shot at it comes your way September 2nd, and this one may have what it takes. The trailer looks solid at any rate, and the fact that it's based on David L. Cook's book, "Golf's Sacred Journey: Seven Days at the Links of Utopia," isn't going to hurt either.
Lucas Black and Robert Duvall are joined by a very solid cast, including Melissa Leo, to bring you a quirky golf film about one man's effort to "find his game," after he parts ways with his father. It may appear a little more syrupy than necessary, but I think it may be onto something, not least because it seems to be both more and less about golf than most of the, admittedly few, efforts in the genre.
