REinvent International Sales has picked up “Fatal Crossing,” a crime series based on Lone Theils’s bestselling debut novel was published in 20 countries.
The eight-episode series is produced by Shuuto Arctic, the banner behind “Outlier” and “Catch and Release,” two popular Nordic crime series. The Scandinavian cast is led by Marie Sandø (“The Marco Effect”), alongside Jesper Paasch (“The Rain”), Anna Stokholm (“The New Nurses”), Siir Tilif (“Those Who Kill”) and Viktor Hjelmsø (“Boys”).
Created and written by Arne Berggren and Kristine Berg, who previously teamed on “Catch and Release” and “Outlier,” “Fatal Crossing” spans two different periods in time, the 1980’s and present time.

Cannes – REinvent International Sales has sold the refugee drama ‘Lost’ to AMC Networks for Spain and Portugal.
The Scandi production-distribtion shingle is presenting the title to buyers at this week’s Mipcom TV market in Cannes.
Created by Ulf Ryberg, the drama thriller tells the story of a truck driver smuggling a group of Syrian refugees into Sweden in his truck. An upsetting phone call from his soon to be ex-wife, leaves the refugees struggling for air, when his mind wanders off them.
The series is directed by Tova Magnusson (“The Most Prohibited”) and produced by Patrick Ryborn (“Backstabbing for Beginners”).
This Swedish-language film is produced by Unlimited Stories where Ryborn is a co-founder and producer. Peter Viitanen, Ville Virtanen, Sandra Stojiljkovic, Vilhelm Blomgren, Shaniaz Hama Ali star.

Produced by Shuuto Arctic, the series follows Maja Angell, an acclaimed young academic in London who specializes in profiling serial killers and aims to develop analytical tools to predict serious crimes. One day, she learns of a young women who has been murdered in her hometown, in the Norwegian wilderness, and decides to head back home to her Sami community to be part of the investigation and track down the killer. As Maja must think like the criminal to fight him and anticipate his next move, the hunt leads her to confront her own demons.

REinvent is rolling into Cannes’ virtual Marché du Film with a pair of stylish horror film movies, Henrik Dahlsbakken’s “Project Z” whose teaser is featured above, and Tord Danielsson’s “The Other Side.”
Produced by Filmbros, “Project Z” follows a group of film students who bring along three unemployed actors to make a zombie movie at a closed motel in the Norwegian mountainside. Suddenly their fiction is turned into reality, when an unknown creature starts terrorizing the film set.
“Project Z” will be introduced to buyers for the first time at the Cannes market by REinvent. Sf Studios will be releasing the movie in Scandinavia.
