- Growing up in Hollywood with a father who's an actor and a mother who encouraged his musical talents, it only seemed natural that Bob would end up in the film and TV music business. Schools attended include: Fairfax High, Los Angeles City College, Cal State Univ Northridge. - In his youth, provided character voices in the Saturday children's productions at the Horseshoe Stage Theatre in Hollywood.
- Worked in the travel industry for many years, traveling to many parts of the world.
- Bob has been an officer in the volunteer USAF Auxiliary, Civil Air Patrol since 1992.
- In addition to playing the trombone regularly, he also has a collection of brass instruments dating back to the 1800's.
