- Formerly a dancer at Radio City Music Hall and on Broadway as a member of the 1946 revival of "Showboat" as well as "A Tree Grows in Brooklyn" and "Wonderful Town".
- (2017) During her annual season (February-May), interpretive dancer Marta was the star of her own theater, the Amargosa Opera House, located outside Death Valley, California. Her opening night was 10 February 1968, and she planned to continue performing indefinitely. Marta officially retired in 2012, after her final show, "The Sitting Down Show."
