The video can be seen at the bottom of this article, and over the course of its five minutes he admits that the final jump scare in Friday the 13th really did scare the hell out of him, says that the franchise...

Three years ago, Paramount Pictures gave the 1980 classic Friday the 13th (watch it Here) a Blu-ray steelbook release to celebrate the film’s 40th anniversary. Now the folks at Fridaythe13thFranchise have caught word that Paramount is set to give the film a 4K steelbook release on October 10th – three days before an actual Friday the 13th rolls around on the calendar. They even got their hands on a picture of the 4K steelbook, and you can check it out at the bottom of this article.
It looks like this steelbook will be using the same artwork as the Blu-ray steelbook, but it will also come with a slipcover featuring artwork that was used for Waxwork Records’ vinyl release of the film’s score.
Directed by Sean S. Cunningham from a screenplay by Victor Miller, Friday the 13th has the following synopsis: Crystal Lake’s history of murder doesn’t...

Sean S. Cunningham directs this legendary Friday 13, the first of an endless saga of terror films that gave rise to one of the bloodiests baddies in the history of movies: Jason Voorhees
Friday 13 was the second slasher in the history of movies which for many might not seem to be much, but for fans of horror films, this was a revelation and for producers a product with great rentability.
Premise
In the Crystal Lake camp two kids have died recently, and now the camp attempts to open its gates again with new monitors who arrive at the camp to prepare everything. However, someone does not seem to agree with this and starts methodically killing off the campers.

“It’s got a death curse!” One of the most well known slashers in American horror doesn’t need to be refreshed in most horror fans minds because they know it very well. What the crew thought would just be a simple slasher film turned out to be a movement that spurned an entire franchise around it even spawning a remake in the 21st century. Taking on a classic is a gutsy move, even for an award-winning filmmaker. And when director Kimberly Peirce signed on to re-imagine Stephen King's horror classic "Carrie," about a teenage girl with telekinetic powers hellbent on revenge, she knew she had some sky-high expectations to meet.
"I'd make a joke and say, 'I didn't give a f*ck,' but of course I felt pressure!" she told us recently while doing press for "Carrie." "But I think pressure is good."
All that pressure had Peirce thinking long and hard about what it would mean to sign on to a project of this scale, with its history and existing fan base. Having made just one film, 2008's "Stop-Loss," since her 1999 directorial debut, "Boys Don't Cry," it's clear, as a filmmaker, she doesn't make decisions lightly.
"I walked into this feeling a huge responsibility, much like I did with 'Boys Don't Cry...
