- A.J. Bakunas was born on October 23, 1950 in Fort Lee, New Jersey, USA. He was an actor, known for The Warriors (1979), The Stunt Man (1980) and The Bees (1978). He died on September 21, 1978 in Lexington, Kentucky, USA.
- Was one of Hollywood's best stuntman. He was a specialist of High Falls, which he shows in films like "Hooper", "The Stunt Man", "Go tell the Spartans", and "Steel". He was killed during shooting of "Steel", when his landing pad didn't hold tight. Tragically, his father was in attendance for the first time when the accident happened.
- In the movie "The Stunt Man", AJ played Eli's Script man, on crutches, because of a broken leg sustained falling on one of the stunts in the actual film. You can see him, on his crutches, in the scene with Eli.
- Some people say I'm crazy to keep doing stunts. I don't think it's any crazier than working eight hours a day in a stuffy office.
