We regret to report actor Jon Polito has died at the age of 65. He leaves behind his husband Darryl Armbruster. Director John McNaughton broke the news on Facebook, today. The pair first worked together on Homicide: Life on the Street, on which Polito played Detective Steve Crosetti. Jon Polito, a character actor known for his long association with the Coen Brothers as well as memorable roles on Seinfeld, Modern Family and Homicide: Life on the Streets, died Thursday night, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
