- She and twin sister Rhae Andrece were discovered on the first night after filming began for I, Mudd (1967)/ Producer Gene Roddenberry had been in a panic because he needed at least 2 female identical twins for the episode, but couldn't find any. While driving home, that night, he saw the Andrece twins walking down the street. Roddenberry literally pulled over beside them, jumped out of his car and told them they were going to be on television.
- Her middle name at birth was her twin sister's first name, Alice. Alice's, middle name at birth was was Rhae. Professionally, Alice changed her first name, slightly, to Alyce, to seem more exotic, although the pronunciation did not change. It was not necessary for Rhae to change her first name, because it already had an unusual spelling, although it was still pronounced the same way as 'Ray'.
