- British actress, initially trained as a dancer. On stage from the age of fifteen, she made her professional debut in the chorus of "Cinderella" at the Richmond Theatre (1937/8). From the 1940's, associated for a number of years with the London Players Theatre. Made relatively few film appearances.
- In 1938, she appeared at the Windmill Theatre, London, in Revudeville, the non-stop variety show that featured tableaux of nude young women whom the law prevented from moving while on stage.
