Grammy®-nominated, multi-Platinum recording artist Selena Gomez released her highly anticipated new song ‘Single Soon’. As Gomez continues to work on the follow-up to her critically praised album ‘Rare’, she wanted to give her fans a fun end of the summer song to enjoy as they’ve been patiently waiting for new music from the multi-hyphenate Gomez. Produced by Benny Blanco and Cashmere Cat.
Directed by Philip Andelman, the video for ‘Single Soon’ made its global broadcast premiere on MTV Live, Mtvu, and across MTV’s global network of channels, as well as on the Paramount Times Square billboards.

Gwen Stefani has paired her throwback single “Let Me Reintroduce Myself” with a similarly nostalgic music video that touches on the singer’s many looks over the past 25 years.
The video opens with Stefani calling Interscope exec Steve Berman to ask for more money for the video shoot, a callback to the singer’s phone call with Jimmy Iovine from her first solo video for “What You Waiting For?” After present-day Stefani sings the first verse, the video shoot is then swarmed with Stefani’s from years past, each representing...

Khruangbin and Leon Bridges catch rays, literally, in the new video for “Texas Sun,” the title track off their collaborative Ep.
The video, directed by Philip Andelman, features a man driving across expansive Texas from sunrise until sundown, during which he pulls over in a prairie and he erects a contraption that manages to capture the Texas sunlight in a box. He then delivers the box of the sun’s rays to his sleepy girlfriend.

Zayn Malik and Zhavia Ward have teamed up for a duet on “A Whole New World,” which will be featured in Disney’s upcoming Aladdin remake. Sadly, the video features no magic carpet ride.
Directed by Philip Andelman, the clip shows Malik and Ward sing the romantic ballad in various parts of Manhattan in the evening, including Central Park’s Bethesda Terrace. The former One Direction singer personally selected Ward for the collaboration, who stands on a rooftop in a vibrant red silk blouse, looking up at the sky and singing “Unbelievable sights,...

Your wish has just been granted. Zayn Malik and Zhavia Ward dropped their cover of "A Whole New World" on Thursday in celebration of Disney's live-action remake of Aladdin. While the two didn't sing the beloved tune on a magic carpet ride over Agrabah, they did perform the duet in New York. The song is set to play in the new film's end credits. The music video was directed by Philip Andelman, who's also worked with artists like Beyonce, Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran, and the song was produced by Saltwives aka Alex Oriet and David Phelan. "The selection of artists, producer and tonal direction was critical for the success of updating a classic song like this,"...

15) Out Of The Game – Rufus Wainwright
Director: Phillip Andelman
The mere presence of the fantastic Helena Bonham Carter is the reason this video made the list. In this brilliant fantasy of a video the equally fantastic Rufus Wainwright gives a funny performance by embodying different personalities. The two of them together is a visual treat full of wistful moments.
14) The Only Place – Best Coast
Director: Ace Norton
This fun video for the upbeat comeback single from Best Coast accompanies the love letter to California vibe the track has going on perfectly. The California-obsessed duo cruise around the state as we see them indulge in fun activities such as leave their mark, smash TVs and make blended beverages.
13) Blue Velvet – Lana Del Rey
Director: Johan Renck
As the face of H&M’s fashion collection for Autumn 2012, Renck and Lana teamed up for this beautifully eerie, Lynch-esque music video/advert.

IMDb premiered its very first music video this morning as Band of Horses' "Dilly" made its way onto the movie data site. The clips was shot by video director and cinematographer Philip Andelman, who took a cue from biker films of the '70s, threw in a little dance, some imaginary-real guns, some spaghetti and rode off into the sunset. “This is the first of our videos to truly capture the essence of what a day in our personal lives is actually like,” said Band of Horses frontman Ben Bridwell in a release. Right. Andelman has helped helm clips from Beyonce to...

Last week here at Twitch we ran a trailer for Dilly, a piece which claimed to be the teaser for a long lost biker flick from the grindhouse era. It wasn't - and we knew it when posting it - but it was such a spot on recreation that we just couldn't help but play along. What is Dilly really? It's a music video for a new track by Band of Horses as directed by Philip Andelman.
The complete video has just gone online over at the IMDb and it's pretty spectacular stuff, assuming that you consider psychic powered dance fighting spectacular. Which I do.
