Vaca Films, the company behind the previously announced Welcome to Harmony, is now in development on Apocalypse Z, which is being adapted for the screen by Javier Gullon. David Alonso is set to direct the film based upon the Manel Loureiro novel Apocalipsis Z: Los días oscuros.

Vacca Films, the production outfit behind Kidnapped and Welcome to Harmony , are in development on Apocalypse Z . The film will be based on the novel by Manel Loureiro who released the tale online before it went to print. Javier Gullon has been tasked with writing duties; he previously penned Heiro , a ghost tale, and King of the Hill . David Alonso has signed up to direct.
